Today we're going to be taking a look at part number BD190706. This is the Bulldog square swivel jack with the round pipe mount. It's going to have superior side load capacity when compared to round jacks. The outer and the inner tubes are going to overlap for additional strength when the jack is going to be fully extended. A nice, square design on the jack itself, it's going to provide additional support for side loading. It also features a nice compact design, so this is going to be perfect for tight applications.

This is a tubular swivel design that's going to let you swing the jack up for travel and down for use. It has the included pull pin that's going to hold the jack in place in either of those positions. The pipe mount here is going to have an outer diameter, outside to outside, of three inches, inside to inside of two and a half inches. This gets welded onto the frame of your trailer, and then this portion right here is going to slide into the portion that's welded onto the trailer. Then it's going to allow the jack to swivel inside of that mount.

Once you have it in the position you want, all you got to do is put the pin in there, secures it in place to whatever position, whether it's the up position for travel or the down position for use. That's going to secure it firmly in place. It's held on with a nice little chain. That way when you take it out you don't ever have to worry about laying it down and potentially losing it. This is made from a durable, long-lasting construction. It's going to feature a weather-resistant coating on the outer tube and a zinc plated finish on the inner tube.

The outer tube, here, again, square design, that's going to measure two and a half inches by two and a half inches. Inner tube's going to measure two and one-quarter by two and one-quarter. Now, another neat feature of this jack is it has a screw-nut stop that's going to prevent damage to the screw and/or the nut when the jack is fully extended. It's going to feature a top-wind handle for a smooth, ergonomic design, allows for easier cranking. It's going to include a bushing here in the top.

Excuse me, it's going to include a bushing here in the top of the cap as well as an eagle claw grip. If we take a measurement of the handle radius, measuring from the center of the handle to the center of where it mounts, it's going to be about nine inches. The foot plate is also welded on, so that's included. If we take a measurement of that, it's going to measure six inches by eight inches. This unit is ASABE compliant. We're going to go over the bracket height measurements. That's just measuring from the center of the tube to the ground. That measurement is going to be about twelve and three-sixteenths of an inch when it's fully retracted, which is the position I have it in now. When it's fully extended, that's going to increase to about twenty-seven and three-sixteenths of an inch, which is going to give this jack an overall lift or travel of fifteen inches. Now, if we measure the clearance that we have from the center of the bracket to the top of the jack, not including the handle, that's going to be about ten and one-quarter of an inch. This jack offers a lift capacity of 5,000 pounds with a static capacity of 8,000 pounds. Again, it is a weld-on application. You can see how easily the jack operates. Turn it clockwise to raise it and then counterclockwise to bring it back down. When the handle's not in use, it can be rotated over for a nice stowed position or a nice storage option there.
