Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Round Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack. This is a dependable jack that's recognized as industry standard for agricultural and commercial applications. It is ASABE compliant. It's going to feature the tubular, swivel design. What that does is it's a weld on application. It's going to allow you to swing the jack up when the trailer's in travel, and then you can pull the pin and rotate the jack back down when you are ready to use it. It does include the pull pin that's going to hold the jack up in either the up or the down or usable position.
Really nice design, easy to use. It's going to be connected with a safety chain, that way you don't have to worry about misplacing it. The unit's also going to feature a nice top-wind handle. It's got a nice smooth, ergonomic design for easy cranking. It's also got a red claw grip, allows you to get a nice grip on the unit, and again, assist you with easy cranking. It's a nice design.
The handle can be moved to a stowed position when it's not being used, that way it's out of the way. The jack is going to feature precision-fitted parts. It's going to provide exceptional stability and reliability. The outer tube and the inner tube are going to be zinc-plated. We're looking at steel construction, so with that zinc plating on there, the overall unit's going to stand up really well to the elements.
It's going to really help rust and corrosion build-up on the jack. This is a weld-on pipe mount, so it's going to come with that weld-on pipe mount, and it's also going to include the foot plate. The weld-on pipe mount, which is this piece right here, that's going to have an outer diameter, from edge to edge, of two inches. That's the piece that gets welded on to the frame of your trailer. Then the foot plate, that's really going to help distribute the weight that's being applied to the jack. It also provides some stability, even on some like softer ground, because it helps spread out that weight.
That's going to give us an overall length measurement of about seven-and-a-half inches, with an overall width measurement of pretty close, here at the widest point, kind of where it flares out a little bit, of about four inches. In the center it's going to be about three and three-quarters of an inch wide. Now, this right here is known as our bracket, because this is going to be the attachment point to the trailer. Right now, I have the jack in the fully retracted position. If I take a bracket height measurement, measuring from the bottom of that foot plate to the center of that bracket, we're looking at measurement of sixteen inches. That's in the fully retracted position. Now, if I was to extend this all the way up, that would give us a measurement of thirty-one inches. If we subtract thirty-one, or if we subtract sixteen from thirty-one we're left with fifteen. Again, retracted, sixteen inch, fully extended, that would increase to thirty-one inches, which is going to give this jack a traveler lift of fifteen inches. If we take a measurement of the amount of clearance that we have from the center of the mounting bracket to the top of the jack, this point right there, that's going to give us a measurement of about four inches, and then that's at this point here. If we want to know what the clearance is from the center of the mounting bracket or the pipe mount to the top of where the hammer mount is, we can just add another, looks to be about an inch-and-three-quarter. That would give us a clearance of about five-and-three-quarters of an inch from the center of the pipe mount to the top of the handle mount. When it comes to the diameter of the outer tube right here, we're looking at a diameter of two and one-quarter. The inner tube of the jack's going to have a diameter of two inches. The handle radius, if we take a measurement from the center of where it mounts to the outer most point of the handle, we're looking at a measurement of about seven-and-three-quarters of an inch. Then, right here at the front of the jack, it's going to have a couple weight capacities listed on it. It shows us the lift capacity, which for this jack is two-thousand pounds. Then, it shows us the static capacity, that's with it being in the used position. That's going to be three-thousand pounds. That's going to do it for today's look at the Bulldog Round Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack.

Not to happy when I found my clip light throwed in with the heavy jack and scuffed up from bouncing around in freight. The box was tore open in two spots when i got it lucky the scuffed up light did not fall out of open Holes Randy

I’m glad I purchased the bulldog pipe mounted swivel jack. I’ve had attached to my motorcycle trailer with two Harley Davidson dressers on it with no problem. Good product with the right specs for my trailer. Fortunately, etrailer.com had a very detailed set of specs so I could make sure this was the right part. It arrived quickly and I was able to start installing in immediately. I had an older version of this and the cranking mechanism got corroded. You need to protect the threads from getting wet. I'll spray some anti-corrosion spray down the top and follow that up with some spray lube.
