E-Z Lube-Compatible Hub for Simple Lubrication
The grease cap on this hub-and-drum assembly is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

The hubs that actually survived shipping seem to be good enough to do their job. However, etrailer thinks that shipping four of them in a box 4 times the size of the hubs without any packaging materials is OK so two of them were damaged by the others moving round in the box. Seals and such were also damaged because they were just in a bag attached to the hub. So -1 stars for etrailer and 5 stars for Dexter products when they don’t get destroyed in transit.

Excellent Brake Rotor and works great with the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies (Part #AKEBRK-35-SA).
Make sure you have at least on new Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle, L44649/L68149 Bearings, 10-19 Double Lip Seal (Part #BK2-100) because you might find that the bearings need to be replaced when repacking the old wheel bearings.

The parts that were ordered and shipped were incorrect. And that is after speaking with one of your sales people to verify that we were ordering the correct parts. And when I did receive the parts they were all put into a big box and shipped via UPS. The box weighed over 90 lbs! The ups driver could 9nly do so much with that weight and the produ t was damaged.due to the very poor packing that was done. Then I find it was the wrong product when I am doing the work... so I cannot give you a good review for your company. And I will more than likely order from another supplier due to the experience in the future.

Went on great! Put on trailer that did not have brakes. Makes the world of difference. Make sure your axle is set up for ez lube or this will not work without drilling grease ports.
