Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the DeeMaxx Galvanized Steel Trailer Idler hub for 8,000 pound axles. Has an eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern and it uses 9/16 diameter bolts. Now this is a marine grade trailer hub assembly that'll fit idler. Axles can also be paired with an over the hub rotor for disc brake applications. It is a galvanized steel construction makes item very durable and corrosion resistant.

So it is great for use on boats or snowmobile trailers. It does use long wheel studs so to let your mount an over the hub brake rotor or a custom wheel with a thick mounting pad. The bearing races you can see are pre-installed. There's the outer bearing race there's your inner bearing race. Now the bearings, the grease seal and the grease cap that fit this are not included.

Again, the application for this is 8,000 pound trailer axles with number 42 spindles. The weight capacity on this one hub is 4,000 pounds so when it's used with one on the other side of the axle it'll meet the 8,000 pound axle rating. Bolt pattern we mentioned on this is an eight on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. The wheels stud are 9/16 inch diameter.
