  • Curt or Draw-Tite Class III Hitch for 2015 Toyota Venza
Between the Curt # 13356 and the Draw-Tite # 75663 Class III trailer hitches for your 2015 Toyota Venza I recommend the Curt # 13356 because of its superior black powder coat finish. This finish tends to last much longer than those from other manufacturers to help extend the overall lifespan on the hitch and resist rust/corrosion. As you probably realized when looking at the two hitches, these units are otherwise pretty much identical. They are going to line right up to existing holes...

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2015 Toyota Venza
For your 2015 Toyota Venza the hitch I recommend for you is the Curt # 13356, which is a very popular hitch for your vehicle and our customers who use it have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star review. This is a 2" hitch with a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight of 350 lbs so you will have no problems using any type of bike rack. I've added a photo of a customer who is using it with a 4-bike Thule rack so you can see how your set up might work. The wiring harness you'll want...

  • A 4 Bike Rack with 2 Inch Shank Will Fit a CURT Class III Trailer Hitch on a 2011 Toyota Venza
The CURT Trailer Hitch, # 13356, is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver. It can handle a 4 bike trailer hitch mount bike rack and accepts racks with a 2 inch shank like yours. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the hitch for you to view. I have also included a link to an FAQ article on hitch classes.

  • Comparing Trailer Hitch Options for a 2013 Toyota Venza
For starters I recommend going with a 2" hitch receiver over the 1-1/4" receiver for your 2013 Toyota Venza. The 1-1/4" options tend to have more restrictions as to what they can be used with when it comes to accessories. As for the Draw-Tite # 75663 and the Curt # 13356, these trailer hitches are nearly identical as they have the same weight capacities and designs. The only real difference between the 2 options is that the Curt hitch was made in the USA. I have attached installation...

  • Does Exhaust have to be Lowered to Install Curt Trailer Hitch on a 2012 Toyota Venza All-Wheel Drive
According to the instructions for Curt hitch # 13356, linked for reference, lowering of the exhaust is required on all models. And on AWD models you also have to disconnect the sway bar brackets like you said. It might be possible to angle the hitch in without lowering the exhaust but it would be difficult. If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or...

  • Vehicle Sag To Carrier About 3 Inches Off The Ground In 2010 Toyota Venza
I looked at your owners manual and your 2010 Venza is not designed to carry a lot of weight. Your hitch may be rated for 350 lbs tongue weight and 3500 lbs towing capacities, but your vehicle is designed primarily as a passenger vehicle. It definitely sounds like you are overloading your vehicle capacity even if the hitch and carrier can hold it, your vehicle cannot. I definitely do not recommend using this combination if your vehicle sags to 3 inches off the ground. Riser kits would...

  • Is an Aftermarket Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Different than an OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
You will often pay inflated prices at car dealers. There is really no difference between the trailer hitch and wiring harness that Toyota offers for your 2009 Toyota Venza than the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13356, and the Curt Trailer Wiring Harness, # C56079. All trailer hitches must pass specific tests whether they are OEM or aftermarket. In fact, Curt is in the OEM market as well as the aftermarket. Curt manufactures trailer hitches for a few different vehicle manufacturers. All of their...

  • Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for Hybrid Bikes and an E-Bike on a 2011 Toyota Venza
The Thule T2 Pro, part # TH83JV is a great bike rack, though it won't be able to hold your A2B E Bike, its still a great rack for your other bikes. If you're really interested in that compatibility with the E-Bike, then the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider, part # HLY84FR is the way to go. With an 80 pound per bike capacity and the ability to carry bikes with up to a 60 inch wheelbase, this rack is built to move the largest bikes on the market. It does come with a hitch and bike lock as well....

  • Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with 2009 Toyota Venza
First you would need a hitch on your 2009 Toyota Venza. For that the most popular option is the Curt hitch part # 13356. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening that would work well for you. I attached an install video for you to check out as well. For trailer wiring you would then want the part # 118482 which is a custom fit for your vehicle. Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a...

  • Will the Curt Trailer Hitch for the 2010 Toyota Venza Fit with Dual Exhaust and Sway Bar
As long as the dual exhaust on your Venza is stock the Curt Trailer Hitch for the 2010 Toyota Venza, item # 13356, will fit on your vehicle. The sway bar is located farther forward than the hitch and the hitch will bolt up between the stock exhaust, in two holes in the frame rail, that are covered with tape from the factory. I have provided links to the installation instructions and an installation video for you to review.

  • How Visible Is the Draw-Tite #75663 Installed on 2011 Toyota Venza
Hidden Hitch (which is the same model as the Draw-Tite) is a brand name, and will not necessarily describe how visible the hitch is. If you look at the hitches available for your 2011 Toyota, you will see that they are all similarly designed and would install under the vehicle in the same manner. Neither of them would be more or less visible. I have provided a photo of the Curt Class III hitch, part # 13356 which would be pretty representative of how the available hitches would appear...

  • Is Hardware Included with Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2013 Toyota Venza
I looked up your current order and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13356 that you purchased does include all the necessary hardware for installation. If you're going to be towing with your 2013 Toyota Venza you'll also need a wiring kit, like # 118482, and ball mount like # 36061. Then for a 2 inch hitch ball use # 19258 or for a 1-7/8 inch use # 19257. I've linked install videos on the hitch and wiring for you to take a look at.

  • Is There a Max Depth Dimension for Curt and Draw Tite Hitches that Fit 2009 Toyota Venza

  • 2 Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Recommendation For a 2015 Toyota Venza AWD
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e22AR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13356 are our only class III receivers that are confirmed to fit your 2015 Toyota Venza AWD. Both receivers include spacer blocks to relocate the rear sway bar since you have an AWD version. I recommend installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118482 when you install the receiver. • Is There a Mounting Spot for the Wiring Harness on a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13356
There is a way to store the wiring harness plug for your 2014 Toyota Venza but there is no actual mounting spot on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13356. The way demonstrated in the installation video I have attached for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118482, is to store the wiring under the floor covering inside the hatch. You can then pull out the wiring to connect to your trailer, being sure to stay away from the latch in the center. Using this...

If all you'll ever use the hitch for is towing the trailer you described, the Curt Class II trailer hitch, part # C12341 would work great for you. This hitch uses the smaller 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. You also need the ball mount # C45521, pin and clip # F-4, and a 1-7/8 inch ball # A-80 or a 2 inch ball, part # A-82. With Curt trailer hitch # 13356 installed on a 2013 Toyota Venza we have found that the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole out to clear the rear bumper is 3-1/2 inches, see linked video showing installation. On the Thule T2 for 2 inch trailer hitches 916, 916XT, 916XTR, or TH9044-TH9046 the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack is 4-1/2 inches. • Ball Mount Recommendation for 2015 Toyota Venza for 3-1/2 inches of Rise
For your 2015 Toyota Venza with a 2 inch trailer hitch like the Curt part # 13356 you want to go with a ball mount that allows the trailer to be towed as level as possible. Based on the dimensions you listed you would need a rise of 3-1/2 inches so that the trailer can be towed level. Since we don't have exactly 3-1/2 inches of rise the best choice is a 4 inch rise since the Venza's suspension is most likely going to settle a bit with the tongue weight of the hitch on it and put you right...

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack, part # SH12G, is a great bike rack. All you need to do to determine if this rack would clear the rear bumper of your car is take one simple measurement. You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper of your vehicle.
