Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

very easy to installUnless you are installing this on a new van, be sure to spray some WD 40 type lube on the threaded frame holes. Over time, they develop some rust and the lube will make it easier to insert and tighten the bolts

My van is a Toyota Sienna. The only problem is that the hitch is too low and sometimes it crash in the ground if I not careful. It is kind of annoying

I had the same issue on my 05 Sienna. I added a set of Timbrens to the rear end and it solved the problem.

  • Hitch, Weight Distribution and Brake Controller Recommendations for a 2017 Toyota Sienna XLE
We can get you everything you need for towing with your 2017 Toyota Sienna XLE. By plastic shield, I believe you are referring to the appearance panel underneath the Sienna, and that will have to trimmed a bit in each of the hitches available for the vehicle. A great Class III hitch would be the Curt # C13105, which is rated for weight distribution and has been given a nearly 5-star review on our site by the over 500 customers that have rated it. As for a brake controller, the wireless...

  • Recommended 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2009 Toyota Sienna For Best Ground Clearance
For your 2009 Toyota Sienna, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13105 you referenced. From the lowest point of the hitch receiver you will have about 8-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The inside top of the receiver itself will be at 11-1/2 inches. This is identical to the etrailer option # e98837 and about 1 inch higher than the Draw-Tite # 75237 option. The SE and CE are trim models and don't impact the fit of the hitch receiver.

  • 1-1/4 inch Trailer Hitch for 2019 Toyota Sienna
While we don't have any Class I hitches that fit your 2019 Toyota Sienna we do have Class II hitches which are the same 1-1/4 inch hitch size like with the Draw Tite # 36513. This essentially would function exactly the same as a Class I and would be the same size but would just have more weight capacity than you'd need. Then for trailer wiring you'd just need the part # 118648 which I attached an install video link for on this page as well as an install video for the hitch.

All hitches available for the 2019 Toyota Sienna are manufactured in the US. Item # e98853 and Item # C13343 both have hidden cross tube designs, a 525lb pound max tongue weight, and a 3500lb gross towing capacity and is not compatible to be used with weight distribution. Item # 75237 has a 675lb tongue weight and a 4500lb towing capacity and can be used with weight distribution however; it has a visible cross tube. All hitches mount the same with the exception of trimming the under body...

According to the instructions, the bolts for hitch part # 75237, are M12 x 1.25 x 40MM bolts. If you do not have a metric tap and die set, I would just take one of the bolts to a hardware store and match the tap to the bolt.

  • Trailer Hitch Fit for 2010 Toyota Sienna
I checked with both Curt and Draw-Tite and neither of the trailer hitches you mentioned are a fit for a 2010 Toyota Sienna. You are correct that there are no hitches with a concealed crosstube that fit a '10 Sienna, though both the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75237 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13105 that fit your van are recessed under the vehicle quite a bit so they would be pretty difficult to see unless someone was pretty low to the ground. Of these two the best option...

The trailer hitch receiver that I recommend installing on your 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75237 as it is a confirmed fit and has the highest weight capacities of all of the available options for your Sienna. It has a Tongue Weight (TW) rating of 675 lbs and a Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating of 4,500 lbs which is increased to 5,000 lbs when using a Weight Distribution system. • Ball Mount for with More than 11 Inches of Rise to Tow Trailer Level with 2012 Toyota Sienna
What I recommend is to use Convert-A-Ball cushioned ball mount # AMSC12 and then add a high rise ball. The ball mount takes a ball with a 1 inch diameter shank. If the trailer coupler takes a 2 inch ball use high rise ball # C40034. If you need a 2-5/16 inch ball there isn't a high rise version that would fit so you would need to use a regular ball # 63847. • Why Does Draw Tite Hitch # 76112 Have Longer Install Time Than Other Hitches
The reason the part # 76112 takes longer to install than the other hitches that fit your 2017 Toyota Sienna is that it installs higher than the other hitches and only has a visible hitch opening where the other hitches hang down further below. I attached two pictures. The one that shows the underside of the rear of the vehicle is the # 76112 and the other is the # 75237.
