This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.Product was as advertised. Directions were clear and concise. Time frame to get the job done was right on the mark. I was pleasantly surprised the whole project went without a hitch. Oh wait a minute, there was one hitch. The one I install without a glitch!~)
The quality of the hitch appears excellent. I was able to install it myself the day I got it. I put it on a 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE. The plastic panel on the driver side needs to be trimmed as shown in the directions. See the picture or how it looks when reinstalled. The fit was perfect.
Just installed it (2021 Highlander Hybrid Platinum) with my 17-year old son. Took about an hour and 15 minutes. Not difficult at all. I’ll be testing it this weekend and will post more afterwards. It is definitely solid though!
The ordering process was easy and straightforward. The delivery was much faster than I expected! I have not yet opened the box but, assuming all is good, my overall experience was excellent.

For a 2022 Highlander Hybrid: This hitch, along with the custom wiring kit, mounting bracket, and 4-flat tester, arrived within 5 days of my order, all nicely packaged and in good shape. Installation went smoothly; everything fit perfectly and worked first time. Many thanks to Etrailer for great service, and a special shout-out to Ryan for his installation videos - a huge help.
The hitch and electrical connections installed well. The only issue is the various Utubes I watched were a bit misleading. Even the instructions with the hitch mislead me and resulted in my having to remove the hitch and replace some tabs from the bumbet that should have been left attached. The biggest problem was the weight. All the Utubes I watched had two men doing the install I’m 82 and did it myself. Final product looks great. Curt makes a great product.

The etrailer rep I online chatted with was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me compare two different hitches for my car which led to my purchase decision. I recommend anyone considering purchasing something from etrailer to take advantage of the chat option to make sure they get the correct model and best price.
This is an extremely durable and heavy duty trailer hitch. It fit perfectly on my 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. The foot kick sensor still works just fine for the hands free liftgate. I just kick under the new hitch bar and point my toes up around the back and it works every time. I installed it myself. Tightened it with my socket wrench and went to an auto parts store to rent a torque wrench to tighten it up the rest of the way. I don't own one and didn't want to buy one just for six bolts. I trimmed a little bit of the plastic underbody panel with an oscillating trimmer tool, not the entire suggested piece in the instructions. Only what needed to be removed for the driver's side of the new hitch plate that is exposed.
Easy install. I did it in a Walmark parking lot because my HOA wouldn’t let me install it.

A one person installation! With the online installation video in hand I was able to install the hitch and light wiring in 1.5 hrs. The hitch bolted up easily and the T light wiring kit was as simple as the online video explained. Best of all, this hitch looks good.
In my opinion- C45CR best and strongest Trailer Hitch for the price on the market.

Great high quality hitch and super easy to install. Installed on 23 Highlander limited with no issues. Hands free lift gate still functions as normal. Great price and fast shipping.
Shipped quickly by ETrailer. Arrived promptly in perfect condition. Installed in less than 1 hour without lifting the vehicle. Some cutting of a plastic panel on drivers side required. Be sure that you have 20" wheels. The foot-operated rear gate switch still works fine! All is well as with many past orders from them!

I’ve hauled our utility trailer and bike rack about 10 times since purchase and it has performed as promised. Finish is unblemished.
The only thing I would recommend is better boxes. The hitch is always breaking out when I get it.
