Hidden Design for a Clean, Factory Look
The EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch is designed to be completely out of sight when you're not towing. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once installed, the cross tube will be completely concealed and only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. But unlike other hitches with hidden cross tubes, the Stealth goes one further. You can remove the receiver portion of the hitch for a completely out-of-sight setup. To mount the receiver, just insert it up into the access port that is built into the cross tube. Secure the receiver to the hitch with the supplied bolt and washers. When you're done towing, just remove the receiver portion to return your vehicle to its clean, factory appearance.

With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will stand the test of time. Quality and easy to install a hitch. Etrailer sent a YouTube link to help with the installation. Easy to follow. If you have any basic tool skills it’s a piece of cake. It just takes time. Good customer service. Use the hitch for my Yakima bike rack.

I wanted a trailer hitch to haul bags of mulch, lawn waste, etc. I was looking to save by installing it myself. Well I was a little worried that I was in over my head until I watched the videos. The videos made it quite manageable for me, a person who never works on cars. The trailer hitch for my 2023 Tesla Model 3 fit perfectly and was even easier to install than the one in the video. Possibly an updated design for the hitch. 1000% pleased.

The instructions were not perfect but okay. Probably because this was a 2022 Tesla. I cut the removable plastic cover to fit tight around the hitch. I did not install wiring for lights since the hitch be used for a bike rack.

- Required Fascia Cutting When Installing EcoHitch Trailer Hitch on 2020 Tesla Model 3When installing the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH84GR on 2018 Tesla Model 3's they needed to cut a 3-1/2" or 4" oval l(the larger opening will just give you more clearance to work with) on the underbody trim to make room for the drop-down 2" receiver. However, on the 2019 models and newer, there is a knockout panel provided so that trimming is not necessary. I have attached an installation video that you can also check out.
