I am completely satisfied and will recommend etrailer to anyone look for towing items. I apologize for having no photos but I can assure you that it looks seamless and I can hardly notice that the hitch is there. It's as though it was put on at the Ford factory.

I am completely satisfied and would purchase from etrailer in the future.
You will have one hell of a time installing it, but it’s a great mount that comes will the important pieces. The problem is Ford. If you don’t buy an Escape with the hitch already, you’re really stuck cutting into the frame drain holes to widen them so the bolts and plates can pass through. We installed this on an Escape PHEV SE and it works but you need to move some box out of the way and it’s tight mounting it back once the hitch is in. I expect you’ll have a hard time finding someone that’s done an Escape hitch install, and if you do, they won’t want to do it again. If you’re reading this before you buy and Escape, get one with the hitch. Otherwise it’s a great hitch. Works as expected. Looks good.
Looks great, works great. I had mine installed by my mechanic, as my 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid had some complexity required for installation (exhaust had to be moved out of the way). I don’t use it for towing, just to connect a bike rack. I appreciate that there’s no visible bar across the backside, the only part you see is the square receiver tube.
Hitch went on exactly like the YouTube video instructions. Looks great and arrived on time. I would definitely buy this hitch from etrailer again and will recommend to anyone.

I e-mailed support to verify fit to a 2023 Ford escape PHEV, and they said its an exact fit. I knew from looking at the photos I would have to modify the hitch frame. Using a cut-off disk I removed several inches on the drivers side frame and sacrificed one bolt hole to accomodate a mounted plastic box that Ford installed on part of the frame. I could not locate all of the fasteners for the box so removing some steel was my best option. My hitch will only be used to haul a bike carrier or an aluminum cargo box, so this hitch will do the job. No modifications had to made to the vehicle. Every thing was stock when complete with the hitch install. Photo taken was without the heat shield, the last part to install when the job was done.
It was great easy to install, and complete install kit came with hitch, already using hitch for wheelchair.
Hitch arrived on time and in perfect condition. Installation took a little longer than the estimated time but was not difficult. I installed by myself using jack stands. Looks and works great.
The hitch installation was very easy once the frame access hole was enlarged. The fit was perfect and the design was solid. No problem whatsoever pulling the bolts and reinforcing plates through the frame with the provided guides. While I won’t be towing anything with this hitch, it will be an excellent receiver for a bike rack carrying 2 e-bikes, or possibly an external luggage carrier. Overall, a worthwhile upgrade to my new vehicle.
I was very happy with the hitch purchased for a '24 Ford Escape. Good fit and no surprises, but I wonder if moving the forward most hole on both sides of the hitch would the negate the need to enlarge the front car frame holes on both sides of the hitch? The posted installation videos were extremely helpful in understanding the process and the pulling wires worked very well. Fortunately, I had access to a lift which made the installation for me problem free. I believe without a lift the installation would have been too extremely difficult and I certainly would not attempt to install the hitch at home without a lift.
Worked great. I had to use a metal burr on my Dremmel to open a couple of the frame holes to be a little wider but it was a simple adjustment. I placed this on a 2021 Ford hybrid AWD Escape.
Easy to install within 1 hr. Solid hitch 2023 Ford Escape St line.
Installed it this weekend on my 2020 Ford Escape. The video was excellent. Installation looks clean. Very happy!
The holes drilled in the hitch on the passenger side don't quite line up right with the holes in the frame. I had to do some filing on the frame to make everything fit. Otherwise it went together perfectly.
Good price came faster then I thought. Have not installed yet. Great customer service.

Yes easy install. No problems.
The hitch for my 2020 Escape Hybrid arrived very quickly. After watching the installation video I was confident the install wouldn't be too difficult. It was a piece of cake. The worse part of the job was making the forward most frame holes a little bigger. The fish wires worked great and the fit was spot on. It's a very solid hitch and appears very well made.

Ive been using the hitch for a year and its still solid as a rock. The hitch is a quality product that will last many years.
This was an easy install. I had to drop the mufler down a bit to fit this. The n once the bracket was situated loose, I simply retightened the mufler back in it's original place. The fish wire was freaking amazing. I used an alagator clip and a magnet to help me pull the wire through. There is no need to drill any holes. Just use the slightly bigger hole slightly in front of the target bolt holes on the side of the frame rather than under it. It worked like a charm! I'm glad I did this myself rather than blow $$ on having it installed.
no directions about removing exhaust to do hitch install, but other than that , I got it done in a little over an hour
Good product and very fast delivery. Easy install once I found oblong holes on vertical part of frame. You can use them for fishing bolts through.

It fit very well on my 2020 escape. No issues. Took almost an hour due to very small cut to fit the backing in the hole which was explained in the tutorial video. Im happy to get this rather than spending over a grand from the dealer.
