Simple install with excellent instructions. Took about half an hour without a lift and a 12 year old helper. It does block the spare tire access though FYI.
My experience has been nothing but fantastic with this company and this product. The product is high quality and custom made to fit perfectly. Fast shipping. Installation took about an hour- completed in my driveway without a lift using basic ratchet set (including torque wrench). Definitely recommend using a pair of hands to help hold the hitch up while setting the bolts. Overall, we’re very happy with this.

My 1 year review falls nothing short of my initial thoughts. The hitch has held up perfectly, as expected. We used it for a season to tow our jet ski and it performed exactly as it should. Overall, we’re very happy.
Super easy install; I backed the car up on 5 inch wooden plank. It took us 30 minutes; we have the tools. I think any mechanic shop could get it done on the lift for less than 30 minutes. Sits flush and not sticking out. First time with etrailer.. Super fast shipping.
Installation was easy - the 35 minutes is probably accurate assuming you have all tools ready, instructions read, and packaging removed. Definitely a two person job but could be done with one if you got creative with a strap or jack. I was a little intimidated by the need to "drop the exhaust," but it's not difficult. The exhaust bracket bolts that need to be removed are replaced by the hitch mounting bolts anyway, and the exhaust mounting brackets swing down out of the way for easy access. Put a strap under the muffler, hooked around the springs, and it's not difficult. I installed without a lift or jack and had plenty of access room.
Photos are installation on my 2015 Lexus NX200t F-sport with the optional cap installed. It looks good, and the only part you would normally see from a standing position is the 2x2 square tube peeking out.
It arrived quickly, which I appreciate. The hitch is perfect for my purposes. I use it primarily for my bike rack, but have used it to haul wood splitter as well and probably will again this summer. I can't speak for the ease of installation, but my mechanic shared no problems after he did, lol.
Just installed this hitch on a 2017 Lexus NX200T, fits great and went right in. do recommend 2 people to make it easier, difficult to do it all yourself with holding the hitch in place and trying to get bolts started. Only complaint I have is it dropped my exhaust pipe tips about 1-1.5 inches from stock because of how the hitch goes in under the exhaust vibration dampeners. Not a large issue but you can see it in the picture provided.
It fitted on my 2017 nx200 Fsport perfectly

( definitely need a second hand to hold up the hitch or have something to keep it in position like I did with a couple of 2x4 woods)
It did lower my exhaust about an inch which

Thanks for the advice to check for rusted threads on the car. That problem took most of the time to fix, but I’m glad I did it before the hitch was half mounted.
Once the threads were cleared, installation took less than 30 minutes.
Installed this hitch on my wife’s 2016 Lexus nx200. Insulation was very easy the directions were easy to follow. The hitch will mainly be used to haul a motorcycle on a Carrier. The wife was worried about it being too bulky and poking out but it Tucked up underneath the car nicely

Easy install, took a bit longer just because it's a bit awkward and heavy to do upside down by yourself. Tucks in quite nicely and looks great. Installed yesterday and used it today to tow a trailer full of mulch....works great!

Rack arrived in a week via UPS. I probably could have put it on myself on my back on the floor with an assistant but I chose to take it to my local garage. With a car lift, two sets of hands and a pneumatic socket wrench they had it on in 15 minutes and they only charged me $56 for labor plus tax - well worth it. It appears to be very solid and sturdy and took my Thule hanging bike rack easily. Am so pleased that I just ordered the Hollywood Platform 4 bike rack from etrailer. Would recommend the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment collar to go with any bike rack

A year later hitch is working out great. Use it with a 4 bike Hollywood rack and a 2 bike Thule rack.
I ordered a Draw-Tite hitch and electrical harness for our NX 200t. The idea was to put the hitch myself and torque it on and then have an expert snap the trailer wiring on when I got it. All went well and we are just waiting for our kayak trailer now. The Draw-Tite is a good looking hitch and seems to be well made. We are looking forward to finding out whether the hitch and wiring will work well into the future for us. I see no reason that they won't.
I had seen where others putting this hitch on saw that their exhaust tips lowered after they finished. They are correct. Our tips are no more than an inch lower than previous factory measurements. This is after torquing them to 92 ft-lbs. They still look awesome....no problem!

Funny you should ask this now as my wife & I are vacationing & using our Hobie kayaks & of course our hitch & pigtail for use with our Sylvan Sport trailer. Both of these accessories are working wonderfully. We have used them many times since purchase.
Fairly easy to install, but for most people it’s a two person job. Having two scissor jacks to support exhaust is a must. To support the hitch during installation, we used a paint can and added boards to achieve a level for the hitch that made screwing the bolts in easy. Definitely need ratchet extenders. We used two 3 inch extenders which made it easier to work around the exhaust pipes. Total installation time, 45 minutes. Highly recommend this product!

Very happy with how it turned out. Simple assembly as long as you have the right tools. I appreciate the sleek design as it looks as if it came from the factory like that.
Instructions super easy to follow. 2nd set of hands absolutely needed or it’s almost impossible to get the bolts started (I’m simply not strong enough to hold it up with one hand and start the bolt with the other. I’m 33, female, 5’5” and 140lb).
