Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

This fully welded, corrosion-resistant vehicle trailer hitch receiver is perfect for your light-duty towing needs. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. Drawbar sold separately.The trailer hitch works and looks great. Very heavy duty. Overkill for what I need it for, but nice to not have to worry about ever putting to much tongue weight on it. It tucks up under the bumper where you can barely notice it. I put it on by myself in the driveway in about 45 minutes.
Great heavy duty hitch Receiver! Item came in packaged well, installed same day. Install was a little tricky, as was installing by myself. I was able to install without having to take down the muffler, but it was a challenge. Might have been easier to just take the muffler off, but was able to get it working and installed. Total time of install was an hour, thanks to etrailers awesome videos to show how to do it properly. Picked up this hitch over the Curt hitch, due to having an option to have 300lb tongue weight, compared to 200lbs. Also easier to install over curt, as this unit only has two screw in bolts, compared to three on the curt hitch.
Fit great. Didn't have to trim much at all. If you've never fished hardware through a frame watch a video online. Factory frame on new KIA was grease coated. Messy, but nice for rust.
Great product, Draw-Tite exceeds expectations as always. Install took only 35 minutes. Did have to repaint all edges around mounts, and the bottom of the receiver. Box had large gaping holes with the mount plates sticking way out. Was afraid T-One product fell out. But it was in there.
