Installation was not nearly as easy and straightforward as I had expected. The 4 bolts only came with 3 washers. Luckily I had another though that worked. The muffler had to be disconnected to make room for the bolts and even then I had to use a hydraulic jack to lift and position the hitch to be able to get all 4 bolts through the holes. What I figured might take an hour or so to install ended up taking about 6 hours along with a lot of ingenuity and persistence.
Installed on 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4DR. Install took under 15 minutes by myself. On our Jeep there was nothing to remove, and there was plenty of clearance around the muffler, so it did not have to be lowered. Simply hold it up, put the bolts in, and tighten it up. Flat black paint blends nice with matte bumper.
Installation was easy without issue, hitch appears substantially more robust than the factory one.

Rhiannon was very helpful and polite while assisting me with my order. The receiver hitch was very easy to install with adequate instructions included.
So far so good! Works well, and so far hasn't shown any signs of rusting. It's tight ( which is a good thing) , and I had to ground off a bit of weld slag off the Jeep frame for fitment. ( not the hitches' fault). -1 star for not having any way to attach ( or even hang) the wiring harness..
Very stout feeling. Install was a bit difficult, the muffler and one of the bolts were fighting for space to run the bolt through the frame. The instructions say to move the muffler, but I was able find enough give with some forceful persuasion to finally get the bolt through.
Wanted the 5k hitch for my 2018 Jeep JLU Sahara. Bolted on with little fanfare and was able to pull a 3k lbs cargo trailer. I probably won't pull the full 5k but having excess capacity is never a bad thing.

Exact fit. Took about 30 minutes to put it on. Did not have to remove exhaust like someone mentioned. There was an existing bracket that the hitch needed to be wedged between the frame and the bracket but no big deal.
Easy install, but I would add, in the instruction video, that sometimes you might need to take an angle grinder or oscillating tool to shave off excess weld to get this hitch to fit. Otherwise easy plug and play.
Fits perfect. There are two bolts in the frame that get used instead of the new bolts. Use two new bolts that come with the receiver and two existing bolts. Fast install in 20 mins with one person.
Great product. Nice Quality. Simple Bolt on and Torque Installation. As advertised. No Modifications needed. Did not have to drop the muffler. Could not have been easier. 30 Minutes start to finish.

Excellent product, poor installation instructions. I have included the photo of the part that had to be removed before I could install the hitch - despite emailing prior to purchase to ensure an exact fit, there was no instruction to remove that part. Once that part was removed, fit was perfect. No need to temporarily remove exhaust, despite recommendation in directions. The vehicle is brand new, Rubicon 4xe. I will only use the hitch for a bike or luggage carrier, but it is heavy duty and would handle more that the Jeeps towing capacity

I researched and found that there is install note that needs to be added to the manual. Some models may have existing bolts attaching a plate with weldnuts on it. The hitch will need to be slid inbetween the bracket and the mounting tube witht he factory hardware reinstalled, securing the hitch.

Product is working great - heavy duty enough to tow a 3,500 pound little camper. Towing limitation is the Jeep, not the hitch!
Wanting easy after removing spacer plate
I needed a hitch receiver that would fit my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and extend far enough that I could use by Kuat Sherpa 2.0 platform bike rack and clear the spare tire. This hitch worked perfectly and was an easy install.

I think that you should NOT have to redrill the holes to make it fit a jeep wrangler. That is what it is made for. The directions say some drilling maybe required. Let me drill the holes bigger, stop go buy a big ass bit and then repaint it so it won't rust then install, seems fair?
I had my hitch receiver installed in 25 minutes with just two wrenches, I didn’t have one issue installing it on my 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I like the Matte Finish.
I watched your install video and then installed the hitch. It was pretty much just like the video. All the bolts lined up perfect! Didn’t even need to take little plate off, just pushed it back a little and slid the hitch in place. Easy -Peasy.
That’s why I bought the E-trailer hitch, I wanted it to fit.
The receiver fits Perfectly and the finish looks factory-installed. I do have one piece of advice. My 2024 Jeep Wrangler did have two bolts that held a bracket in place. This bracket also anchors the middle part of the rear bumper cover. If you loosen the 2 10mm bolts (do not remove) on the bumper cover and then remove the two 18 mm factory bolts, the bracket (they refer to it as a plate in the installation video) will easily slide outwards making ample room to install the receiver. You will need to re-use the two factory bolts as the plate has built-in nuts. Installation took less than an hour. Great Product!

Everything appears to be well made and surprisingly all 4 bolts were grade 8. Doesn't get better then that either.

Very well, still like new and tows a 5000 trailer with ease.
Product quality is what I expected.. I thought I was purchasing the extended version of this receiver, so my bike rack would fit...
Works great! Color match is perfect to Jeep Wrangler 4XE.
Once I figured out the alignment of the bolts it was simple. The 2018 JL has two bolts and a bracket that are already there. U loosen, slide the hitch between the bracket. I reused the 2 stock bolts and used the 2 new bolts. Looks great! Total time for install about 40 mins with torque n the bolts. Havent used it yet but will let u know if there are any issues.

Some models will have existing hardware and a spacer installed in the hitch installation location. If your Jeep has these parts, you will want to remove the bolts and spacer, keeping the bolts for re-installation with the trailer hitch.
