Purchased for my 2 door JL. The first 3 bolts fit perfectly but the 4th was a little too big so I ran down to Home Depot and picked up a 12mm which fit perfectly. Outside of that assembly was a breeze. Not need to remove muffler as stated in instructions. 10/10 would recommend.

Solid built much thicker than factory. I have the tow package on our JLUR the only issue I had was the factory plug bracket. The Curt design wraps around the bottom frame rail blocking one of the bolt holes. I used a step bit to drill a hole through the receiver so the one bolt hole can attach to the frame. A washer was used on the other side as a spacer to secure it evenly.
I installed it on a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 2D00r. The hitch itself is great, but had a hard time getting it to slide up into place as it was slightly narrow. Finally had to use a floor jack and a squirt of silicone spray to get it up into place and a sideways hit with the hammer was able to get holes lined up. It is a good hitch!
I know all shippers go through packages, but y’all might want to reconsider using USPS.
Looks well made but finish was flawed, looks like they powder coated/painted over dirt, about an inch long by 1/8” wide area flaked off when I rubbed it with my finger nail, decal was crooked and wrinkled, just saying. Installation was simple, about 45 minutes or so.

great customer service. I needed a trailer hitch that was a little out of the ordinary. Etrailer told me what i needed to know. In fact they were the only people who would talk to me. The manufacturer, Curt would not give me any dimensions of there hitches. All they would say is "our hitches are designed to fit a particular vehicle". Maybe that's a CYA policy?

Wow! The hitch receiver was exactly what I ordered and it fits my 2021 Wrangler Willys perfectly. Did not need to enlarge holes or drop exhaust. It is very well fabricated and powder coated. And it came with a wonderful little surprise as an extra!

Still works and looks great!
I like the thickness of the metal. using the holes in the cross member. will be using a cargo rack for beach things. e-trailer has come thru again. this is a gift for a son & wife for helping us out

Our hitch has been great, it arrived quickly and very nicely packaged with a surprise. It was easy to install, my wife did most of the install hherself.

I’m trying to install this hitch but when I went under, I saw these two screws (see attached). I’m not sure what it is and if it’s ok to remove, install the hitch and put it back. I have a 2018 JL Rubicon unlimited.

I spoke with my representative in the tech services department at Curt Manufacturing and was told that its perfectly acceptable to remove the 2 bolts shown in the photos you provided and substituting them with the bolts provided with the hitch.
Literally took 10 minutes to install! You don't have to drop the exhaust off the hangers either. Simple bolt on fully welded bracket built very well. Nothing monstrous, remember it's only a jeep lol
Great qualifications, easy install. I have a Jeep JL wrangler Sahara so the outside bolts were already present with the welded on nuts.on a plate behind the cross member. Just lightly pries out the plate, Slipped the hitch between it and the cross member. And threaded the bolts tbrough. Use the original bolts as they are a different thread and head size.
Wonderful quality and great finish. No grinding, pounding, or retrofitting needed. Slipped right in.
Installed easily as per instructions.
Had to install 2” drop extender to be able to open the tailgate and it came out great.

Keep in mind, installing any extender will lower the tongue weight capacity of the hitch listed on ID sticker affixed to hitch by half.
Built strong and perfect fit.
Solid piece, was rough getting one bolt in, it just didn't want to line up. Finally got it right. Did not have to remove the muffler. 45 minute job.
Installed on 2017 Jeep Wrangler 2 - door. Easy install. Factory bolts lined up with slotted hitch holes. Was able to get wrench up between hitch and muffler and did not need to take muffler off as suggested in the instructions. Make sure you have a torque wrench that goes to 110 ft/lbs. That is tight.
