This hitch was installable without dropping the exhaust from the rubber hangar. If you put the head of the bolts between the heat shield and muffler, the pry the muffler down a bit with a pry bar, you can get the bolts in. Then a tight space to get the nuts on but definitely doable. Hitch worked great and pulled the trailer just fine.
Great product, green wire needs to be about 6” longer very tight. The main problem is the receiver needs to be 4” longer towards the rear of vehicle. Can’t hook up without it, it makes the ball sit about 1/2 “ below the spare tire. Just too short so I have to get a special order hookup

Nice quality and detailed instructions, easy installation, just need to drop the hanger on the muffler, discharge end only. Good looking powder coat finish too.
The hitch is very solid. Great price. It was easy to install and fit perfectly to the bottom of the bumper. We will be towing our jet ski to the lake this summer!

Just installed. But was very easy on Our 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. Little tight getting bolts between exhaust but a little tap with little hammer and they went right in. Don't tow much it's a "just in case purchase "
Ordering was easy, the “how to” videos gave me the confidence to install items myself. Great communication, never once wondered where my order was. Placed order on a Saturday not expecting it to be processed until Monday. Pleasantly surprised to see emails that my order was received and being prepped for shipping!

Very easy install. Love the fact that it is recessed under the bumper and out of the way when accessing the rear storage area of our 2020 Jeep Wrangler.
Just got it installed, much easier than expected. Product seems solid. If you're installing on a Jeep Wrangler with a tire on the back, then you'll also need to get an extender so you can clear the tire.

After a year of use its working great and no sign of rust or other wear.

I ordered a hitch receiver to be installed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from the place that was installing it, but the one they ordered stuck out about 4” past my bumper. I haven't used the hitch, but it is a Curt. It is solid and heavy and the normal high quality you get from Curt. That's about all I can say about the product since I haven't installed or used yet. I can give a review of etrailer. Read some good reviews and not so good reviews of etrailer. Decided to go with etrailer and give them a try. Same day shipping, fast shipping and courteous service. My experience overall; excellent.
The hitch is nicely finished. The welds look good and it was very easy to install. It took all of 10 minutes to put on.

This hitch is still looking good
Heavy duty and high quality. Instructions were straight forward and installation was simple. Took about 20 minutes to install on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Definitely recommend.
Works great. The hitch was easy to install. Dropping the exhaust turned out to be more challenging. Buy the tool to make that part smoother.
Very impressed with the hitch and ease of installation, look forward to many years of reliable service.
