Watch videos on how to remove the rear cover, think on 3 hours labor and good luck not braking any small plastic pieces.
Like the 1 star review on here, this hitch sits behind the bumper making it very difficult to attach hooks to without destroying the bumper. When questioned, I was given the response "That is the was the manufacturer designed it to be hidden as much as possible and for the most ground clearance" Also be warned, they will not accept a return on it once its installed, regardless of use."Our return policy states; Within 60 days you may return and new and unused and uninstalled items. Since the hitch has been installed and the hardware was torqued down there would be signs of use and would not be able to be sold as new. Due to that we would be unable to accept the hitch as a return." There are much better options out there for a few bucks more. For such an expensive vehicle, this is a poor solution for towing.

A complete kit for my Jeep. One person could do the installation but two made it easier. Getting the back of the car up on ramps also helped. Not what I would call an easy job to install it but not real hard either. It fit the car without any modifications or changes needed.

Fit well with no problems
Hitch will not work on 2019 models of Cherokee trail hawk . Safety chain loops are inside of bumper and there for if you used them the chains would surely ruin the bumper facia .
The box it came in was basically destroyed. Lots of scratches on the hitch reciever. I had to touch up paint it before installing it. Shipping was fast though, decent install, looks great, works as should.

This particular Draw-Tite hitch for the 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk is designed to be hidden for a clean look. The safety chain loops are still exposed for towing although the safety chains may rub against the fascia while towing. If you want a hitch where that will not be a possibility, I recommend Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13395 for the trailhawk.
