Perfect for light-duty towing, this custom, vehicle trailer hitch receiver features fully welded, gloss powder coated steel construction. Drawbar sold separately.Fits perfectly but the bolt holes in the chassis were too small and I had to use a unibit to widen in order to fish the square washers and bolts through the frame holes. No big deal, took an extra few minutes. Still rated 5 stars for ease of install.
One small suggestion for Curt, my Terrain Denali has an access "hatch" for manufacturer installed receivers to be hidden behind the bumper cover. I really would have loved to have this receiver be hidden behind that hatch, but I know this would incur some engineering and manufacturing costs with probably few customers who need or would like it.
Shipping was fast and a day sooner than originally stated. From order inception to delivery to my front door, I had the ability to track the order status. Exceptional tracking system! The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver -Custom Fit- Class I -1/14” was securely packaged in a heavy-grade cardboard box with convenient hand cutouts for easy carrying. Complete with thorough instructions and all the required mounting hardware. The instructions were spot-on and easy to follow. Additionally, the on-line video tutorial was invaluable to see first hand how to get the hitch into position to mount.
Extremely satisfied with the overall purchase process and experience. I will definitely be using etrailer for any future trailering purchases. Great job to your entire team!
Super easy to install, helps to have 2 sets of hands, but capable of installing by yourself. Also helps to have the back end up on lifts to give you room to work.
Hitch receiver is perfect for a 2-bike rack with 1 1/4" hitch.
It took me about 2 hours to install this and wiring. The instructions say 15-30 min which annoys me because I don’t think anyone is doing it that fast. Anyhow the hitch looks and feels like very good quality. Hoping to try it out soon.
Excellent product, excellent installation and customer service.
I received 9 out of 10 hitch receivers ordered. One is still floating out there in UPS land. Due to issues getting the receivers, it has been about 6-weeks since the order before the receivers shipped. I love working with etrailer, but the delays are starting to make us uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, the carrier mishandled the package and there are some minor scrapes in the powder coating. There are also marks in the finish where the bolts had been tightened down previously suggesting it's probably a return. But overall, I am very satisfied with the hitch.

Im sorry to see that your hitch has received some scratches on it due to shipping. This does tend to happen and when it does, we recommend using a Rust-oleum type paint to cover up any scratches and prevent corrosion in the future during use. I have a link below for your reference.

These are good hitches and work very well for our need, using a bike rack. However, in shipment almost every box has places where the rack has broken through the box. No damage, but I worry about how these might damage other things during shipment.

This hitch has been working well since day 1! I have it on a work vehicle that may or may not be allowed from the fleet perspective, so being able to easily remove and add back on as needed simple 20min process is fantastic. Recently go a flat shelf rack so I can carry whitewater raft and gear. Cannot be happier.
