This feature makes setting up your towing system as easy as pie, allowing even those with minimal mechanical skills to install it in about 50 minutes.

Built for Strength and Stability: Robust Weight Capacities

When it comes to towing, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver has got you covered! With a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 750 lbs, this Class III hitch ensures you can tow safely and efficiently, whether you're hauling a camper or a boat. The weight distribution capability further extends the gross trailer weight to 6,000 lbs, providing that extra push when you need it.

Say goodbye to deterring rust and corrosion. This hitch is crafted from durable steel, coated in a stylish gloss black powder finish, lending it superior rust resistance. This means your hitch not only looks smart but also withstands the test of time and rough weather conditions, ensuring longevity for all your adventurous pursuits.

Sleek and Stylish: Round-Tube Design

Aesthetics meet functionality in this hitch’s sleek, round-tube design. It offers a seamless look that complements your vehicle’s design, appearing almost like an integrated part of your car. This feature particularly becomes a standout when other options may require removing parts like the bumper for a hidden installment.

Integrated American Craftsmanship: Assembled in the USA

Supporting local manufacturing and high-quality standards, this trailer hitch is proudly assembled in the USA. With domestic attention to detail and quality control, you’re getting a product that's crafted with expertise and diligence, perfect for those who prioritize American-made products.

  • Trailer Hitch that Fits 2020 GMC Acadia
Hey Jimmy, we do have a hitch that fits your 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 with the Draw Tite part # 76023 but the Curt you mentioned excludes the AT4 models so it would not work for you.

  • Comparing Curt and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Options for a 2020 GMC Acadia
The trailer hitch options for a 2020 GMC Acadia are the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13293 (see photo one) and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76023 (see photo two). The trailer hitches are both bolt-on options and have sufficient weight capacities that exceed the vehicle so neither will limit or increase your towing capacity. That said, the most notable difference which you can see from the photos below is that the Draw-Tite hitch installs behind the bumper...

I measured one of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers # C13293 in our warehouse and it came up 40-1/8" wide measuring from the center of the mounting holes from the drivers side frame to the passenger side frame rail. I have included this in an image below as well.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2023 GMC Acadia
The best hitch for your 2023 GMC Acadia is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e36AR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your GMC with included hardware. I really like the etrailer hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper cover and can be completely hidden when you are not towing. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight. I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video...

When installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e36AR you will remove one heat shield stud on each side after reinstalling the heat shields. The stud you will be removing is the one near the exhaust hanger where you removed the two bolts to lower the exhaust. See the attached picture. The installation process is the same as the # C13293. I have attached the instructions for the Curt hitch along with an installation video you can check out. If you jump to the 4 minute mark you will...

  • Curt Versus Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2021 GMC Acadia
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13293 will not require stabilizing straps. I have put in to have that note removed as Curt does not recommend the straps with this receiver. I recommend the Curt as it will be the easier receiver to install given you will not have to remove the bumper fascia to complete the installation. We have the 4-Way Harness # 118720 and the 7-Way Harness # 118276 that will plug into the factory connectors that...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible With AT4 Trim on 2022 GMC Acadia
For your 2022 GMC Acadia AT4 you will need the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023. Both the Curt # C13293 and our etrailer # e36AR will not fit the AT4 trim. The Draw-Tite is designed to fit as the factory receiver would and hides behind the removable fascia panel. For the wiring I recommend using the wiring from the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118276 to connect to the factory wiring. Instead of using the included 7-way you can connect the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13293 and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76023 are both excellent options for a 2020 GMC Acadia. That said, there are some distinct differences. The Curt hitch (see photo one) hangs below the rear bumper whereas the Draw-Tite hitch (see photo two) sits inside the rear bumper cutout. However, the Curt hitch because it hangs below the rear bumper is much easier to install than the Draw-Tite hitch which sits inside the bumper cutout. I recommend...

This is a Class III hitch receiver, meaning that it is a 2" hitch receiver. It has a maximum tongue weight of 750 lbs and a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. Both the Draw-Tite part # 76023 and Curt part # C13293 trailer hitches available for the 2020 GMC Acadia are great choices however there are some differences that set them apart. The Curt hitch is easier to install and more visible on the vehicle while the Draw-Tite is requires a longer, more invasive install process but has a hidden cross tube for a cleaner look. Good question and we can definitely get you set up with the better option between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13293 and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023. There are a few important differences to take note of, which is their visibility, clearances, and install. The main difference between the two is that the Draw-Tite Class III, part # 76023 is mostly concealed behind the bumper, more like the OEM hitch would be, and the Curt # C13293 installs so that the receiver tube is right under the rear bumper fascia. Because of this, the Draw-Tite offers a better appearance as well as a couple of inches of additional ground clearance. • Why Won't the Mounting Bracket on My Curt Hitch # C13293 Fit My 2020 GMC Acadia?
I'm sorry to hear about your hitch! Given that your vehicle is a non-AT4 model 2020 GMC Acadia, one of the common issues people have with hitches is bending/bowing of the hitch during delivery. If the angle on the welded end of the driver's-side brackets does not match the frame rail, it does indeed sound like an issue with bending/bowing of the Curt Trailer Hitch - 2" # C13293. While we have not heard of the # C13293 not fitting your vehicle, bending/bowing is more common than people...

The main difference between the Curt # C13293 and Draw-Tite # 76023 hitches for your 2022 GMC Acadia is the style of how it looks once installed. The Draw-Tite fits a little more snug up to the bumper of your vehicle and it's what I recommend going with because it looks a bit more clean. Aside from that they have different weight ratings (but that doesn't matter because your vehicle is rated lower than both) and the install for both will look a little different.
