Tech Tip
Hitch does not fit Cab and Chassis or Cutaway models. No drilling through vehicle frame required for installation , Mounting holes are not weldnuts, so they do not have threads. Hardware includes self-threading bolts (do not use an impact wrench to thread holes), but it is recommended to use an M12 x 1.75 tap to thread the mounting holes before installing hardware.

The tow hitch I cereceived had some scratches on it. I was informed that the hitches are stacked and shipped out from distribution and some get scratch from time to time. Other than that I would give a 5 star rating. I am please with the item. Etrailer refunded $10 to my credit card to buy touch-up paint. Thats A1 service. Fast shipment, everything lined up perfectly. All the hardware was there, even the little wire to guide your bolt through the holes. Excellent company, i would recommend my friends if they need a tow hitch. Great job etrailer.
I was looking for a trailer hitch for my new vehicle and came across etrailer and found what I was looking for so I ordered it and received it in a short time (less than what was said). I took the time to install it myself and did so in about 40 minutes. It fits great and also looks great. It was nice that it came with the bracket welded to it for the plugs. My wife and I plan to use it to tow our camp trailer and also a small utility trailer.

It took a while to use it but once I did, it has done the work it was intended for. I have had no problems with it. I would recommend this to anyone needing a well built receiver.
Great hitch, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the little rectangular spacer washers were missing. Shipping was super fast, and fit and finish were perfect.
It still looks new and works well a year after I installed it. It took about an hour and a half to install which included tapping the existing holes that was recommended in a review a year ago. I use it for my bicycle rack on the back of a transit van.

Still looks new and works very well.
The hitch arrived without a hitch. Was easy to install.... Without the silly wires to thread thru for the machine bolt and plate. Customer service was friendly. The tracking link in my email took me to their home page instead of a tracking page, and a bike rack I ordered (but had to cancel) was on backorder even though the site said available. Still, etrailer is one of the best sites to get educated on their products. The videos are so helpful and the photos too. Great site that I've already referred a couple of friends!
Easy and straightforward to install. I watched the video and checked out some previous reviews. Tapping the screws first is the way to go. I already had a tap but only used it on one hole. One was already done due to a factory installed tow loop that I had to remove. I could possibly reinstall with a spacer but don’t think it’s needed. The exhaust was in the way of using my tap so just used the self-tapping bolt without any issues. Definitely take the time to get it started straight and level. Once the holes were prepped I had my husband lie on his back and press the hitch into place while I went around and secured it. We easily got it done in a couple hours but we took our time. Would definitely buy again and will recommend etrailer.com
Every time I work on vehicles there is always some BS hassle to deal with…except this time. I was skeptical when I ordered this that it was “bolt on,” but truly, it IS bolt on. I installed it in 45 minutes and I was taking my time and read the instructions first. I recommend using red Locktite on the bolts just in case. I have not installed the wiring harness (from Ford) or the brake controller from etrailer yet.
I recommend this tow hitch, it seems to be well made. Don’t expect it to be as durable as an F350 dually, but pretty good for light to medium duty loads.
4th etrailer hitch install for me in the past couple years. This one was the easiest yet. Fit/fab was perfect and the self tapping bolts went in with no issue. Instructions and support are second to none, will not shop anywhere else at this point!

Easy install, all holes lined up. I did order a M12 tap, made easier.
Third hitch receiver I've ever installed. Easiest I've ever installed. I reinstalled the transport hold-down mechanism, but you don't need to... 2 large 1/8" thick washers work well for that and one original bolt. 2020 Ford Transit 350.
hitch was received in 2 days and installed in 10 minutes, I buy all my hitches from etrailer and have never had an issue

The box with the hitch was delivered by UPS around 3:30. I opened the box and checked to make sure everything was there in the box and it was. The installation instructions were perfect and I was finished with the hitch install in less than 20 minutes. Very easy, simple and I did it with no outside help.
I had a small "stool" which fit under my 2015 Ford Transit XLT 350 van. I put the hitch on it and the height was just right to hold the hitch in place while I tightened the bolts. Easy install and it fit with no problems. Now I can pull my boat trailer without having to "borrow" a vehicle with a hitch. Thanks, I will be telling everyone about my experience

Product arrived in a few days. Easy Installation. Installed myself in parking lot. Comes with everything and clear instructions. Watched video on website for installation right before install just to see it done. Good looking and functional product. A little tough to get the exhaust out of the way on the passenger side nut. I suggest getting a little help with that.

Still working fine and still looks good
Great hitch! I installed it a year ago on my 2016 Ford Transit and couldn't be happier. Installation was a breeze; I used piece of wood across a floor jack to hold the rack in place while I laid down and bolted the rack in place. It took maybe 20 minutes. The hitch doesn't stick out past the bumper, looks nice, and seems really strong
Wasn’t hard to install and we have used it a lot without any problems. The only problem was when my wife had a rear flat tire i had to jack up the truck to get the spare tire out. I think this would have been the case with any hitch.
This trailer hitch is sleek, strong and looks like it was an original install. I installed the hitch about 1 year ago and there is no rust on the frame or the hitch. This is a great product. Thank you!
this is my second hitch that i purchased from etrailer. wife got a new Honda Pilot so i put on a hitch and wire harness. I just got a new Ford cargo van which needed a hitch. clicked on etrailer five minutes later I have a new hitch and wiring coming to my house. Very easy install. great place to buy a nice hitch and wires.
