Specs:
The EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch is designed to be completely out of sight when you're not towing. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once installed, the cross tube will be completely concealed and only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. But unlike other hitches with hidden cross tubes, the Stealth goes one further. You can remove the receiver portion of the hitch for a completely out-of-sight setup. To mount the receiver, just insert it up into the access port that is built into the cross tube. Secure the receiver to the hitch with the supplied bolt and washers. When you're done towing, just remove the receiver portion to return your vehicle to its clean, factory appearance.
With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will stand the test of time. The lightweight alloy is composed of recycled materials. Traditional steel hitch manufacturing can use coal or oil, which can contribute to harmful gas emissions. The EcoHitch's recycled materials limit the carbon footprint during manufacturing, so you get a sturdy trailer hitch while also helping the environment.
This EcoHitch trailer hitch is tested for durability and sturdiness. Using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA), individual points of stress on the hitch can be detected and remedied. Designers can accurately test the hitch to ensure that it will meet or exceed SAE J684 standards. The EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch is carefully researched and strength tested for a durable, high-quality hitch that can resist damage while on the road.

So easy a caveman can do it! The only challenges was, pushing the hitch into position, without pushing the mounting bolts back into the frame. I recommend a plastic washer, to prevent the bolts from going back into the cavity of the frame. Looks amazing and definitely recommend this product!
Hitch works great, can use tow chain brackets with locking cable to secure bike.
It’s great but one thing I don’t like everything is so well built and fits perfect. But the bolt design kinda sucks. All the other hitches I have put on Subaru’s have had carage style bolts with square shanks and square plates. These just have a star washer inside which even using an impact to get them initially tight didn’t work very good. I couldn’t get them to torque they just spun. So I just hit it with my 3/8 impact and then used a double nut to keep it from backing off. I put a wrench on it and it is tight now. Or I sure hope it is. I’ll be testing it with lighter things before I tow anything. But it looks amazing fits amazing and it’s probably the nicest coolest hitch design I’ve installed. I am a mechanic of 25 years now so I’m not a rookie
Fits perfectly. I think an improvement would be to have bolt keepers to prevent the bolts from being pushed up into the frame while trying to align the hitch into place. I didn’t have that problem, but it was a bit of a worry.

Directions were poor. Could not be assembled as per the instructions. Parts did not fit. Had to drill out holes in car frame for backing plates to slide into. Nice hitch when installed. Hitch fits nicely under bumper plastic and completely hidden when not in use. Also, does not reduce off-road departure angle like most other hitches. Good product, expect additional time an effort for installation.
So far so good. The hitch arrived Monday and today was installed by the local hitch shop. It took them a half hour to install and if looks great. I put my bike rack on it and it works perfect.
