He walked me through everything for about 5 minutes. Then I proceeded to order parts at a very reasonable price. Shipping was right on time and tracking was top notch.
Now for the parts I received. Trailer hitch receiver was built like a tank, and very easy to install. I didn't even have to take off the whole bumper which I see on your website. There is only one problem with this hitch receiver. Zip ties to hold the facia bracket? It's like putting a $10 paint job on a Rolls Royce. I'm sure you have a good R&D department, but this is unacceptable. I could tell you how to make this better but I'm not part of your team. could be solved by putting a ___ on the ______. R&D should be smart enough and paid well to figure this out. No offense but they can do better. ??ZIP TIES?? Also, it is pitched with a cap but did not receive that.
I also purchased A brake controller P3 and a ball hitch. The ball hitch is pictured wrong on your website. It's pictured with an adjustable ball hitch. This is what really wanted but got something entirely different. If it works, I'll be fine with it. I should have caught that, but my eyes adjusted on the adjustable ball hitch. P3 brake controller was very easy to install, about 5 minutes.
On a closing note, I will order from etrailer again. Thanks for your business. Just please listen to your customers and fix these problems. Everything and everybody are not perfect. Thanks again.
We are using this hitch package on our 2017, Durango GT to tow a new (single) personal watercraft. Delivery communication was delivery only took a few days. We had it professionally installed with no issues. I love that the hitch receiver is mostly hidden within the bumper cover (when in use) and that the removable OEM hitch cover fits perfectly with no interference (when not in use), all while maintaining OEM ground clearance. Very slick and MUCH less $$ than the OEM.
Haven’t put it to the test yet with actual towing, but as far as install goes it was super easy. The videos provided by etrailer were thorough and easy to follow along with. The daunting task of pulling off the rear bumper on my new car was less scary after having seen it done. Looks great!

After a year I still love this hitch. Looks great, tows great, not a single complaint. As a consumer I feel I am often very critical of products and I honestly have nothing I can find wrong with it. If you’re on the fence, get it! You won’t be disappointed.

It's been excellent for our Dodge Durango. We had problems with our previous hitch, such as bottoming out the bike rack. We haven't had any issues with this hitch (it sits higher). We use it for our 6 person bike rack and towing a travel trailer.
Easy install after watching video if handy. Took approx 2-2.5hrs from start to finish. Additional note: Did not have to drop exhaust to loosen/add new bolts w/ proper impact extensions.

Love that it fits under the rear fascia cover of the 2019 durango. Looks great easy to install. Took about 4hrs to install with wiring in wire harness and having a sore knee crawling around. Ran out of daylight before i could hook a trailer to it or the wiring so i hope it pulls straight.

The installation videos on durango (mine 2014) were extremely helpful. Especially how to remove the bumper facia. I found it was unnecessary to drop the exhaust system. The fish wires to pull the carriage bolt and bar were very helpful. on the passenger side, i needed to have the bar and bolt go into the cavity one at a time and had to be careful how the bar landed to allow it to reassemble by pulling on the fish wire.
Receiver hitch work perfect. Good instructions and itbwas perfectly described om the website. I will definitely recommend etrailer to many more people. Thanks!
Easy to install. Instructional video was easy to follow. Make sure you have a 19mm deep socket available. It’s not listed on the tools needed list. Hitch could have been packaged better on the sharp edges to prevent it from compromising the box

All good! Mainly used for hauling mountain bikes. Fit the car quite nicely!
So happy I purchased this hitch from etrailer. The installation went perfectly.
They though of everything and I loved the fish cables the best.

I am a first time user of e-trailer. My experience was a good one. The parts that I had ordered arrived very quickly for not having to pay any shipping, good on you e-trailer. I had watched the video on installing my new draw tite receiver. It was a completely custom fit for my 2018 Durango. And the video was spot on. As I saw in other reviews most did not like that they use ty-wraps to hold the bottom part of the fascia, so I went a step farther and drilled and tapped two 1/4x20 holes in the bottom of the reciever and screwed it on to the bottom (see pics) worked great. The only problem I had was the collar on the reciever was not welded on in the right spot, just a bit off. That made it difficult to push a hitch ball in or in my case a bike rack(also purchased for e-trailer, but with a bit of filing all good. Thanks guys for getting everything here quickly.

I have not used it a bunch yet, but when I first installed it we went on a trip to Michigan. It was about a 5-6 hour drive. I hauled 4 adult bicycles on the hitch and bike rack purchased from e-trailer. They made the trip flawlessly, both directions. I was and are very satisfied with e-trailer and the equipment purchased from them, would recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!
Directions are clear, but the online video is super helpful and clearer.

I feel confident of the integrity of the hitch. No issues on my occasional use with my trailer 2-5k and hitch carrier. Id buy again when needed for another vehicle.

Product came in on time and as described! The associated videos showing install was extremely helpful and they made the install very easy! I had a few different tools so I did not have to drop the exhaust, but I appreciate that they showed how to do it for those that may have to. Results came out awesome and the hardware included the body pins which was helpful. The only thing I would ask for would be the clips for the lower facia to be reinstalled instead of using zip ties.

So this hitch is great! It is a decent amount of work to put in by your self so I suggest asking for help. Even with help, be ready to put some work in. In my opinion it is worth it because this recover hides in the bumper so you can put cover on to make your Durango look slick. Now the only reason why I give it 3 stars, is because it’s very difficult to get the chains to snap on to the loops. It’s very inconvenient but this problem could probably be fixed with adding in some quick link hooks. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give it 5 stars!
Haven’t installed yet. Shipped in a box, that was heavy enough for the product, unlike some places. I was impressed just for that reason, they took care of the product they were selling you, great job. Will get installed this weekend and update the review.

Hitch has worked well for a year, including two, 800 mile trips towing a Sea-Doo over the Green Mountains and some heavier local towing. No visible rust on the hitch. Everything has been great about the hitch system except for the chain hook slots, as hook connectionremoval is difficult using chains with a spring loaded latch. Chains without a latch work better.
