The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.Had absolutely no problem in installing the Hitch. I had to be meticulously careful, though, because I was afraid I'd damage the Pull Wire. As an insurance, I used thin strips of duct-tape wrapped around the bolt/spring wire.
However, one concern! The plastic bag that had the Instruction Sheets and the Pull Wire was sliced opened and only ONE Pull Wire was in the bag VICE two as noted in the Parts list. Photos attached. I had decided that I would not make an issue of this discrepancy unless I had problems installing the Hitch.
Otherwise, very satisfied!

My truck is quite the workhorse! Occasionally, I need to pull a flatbed trailer for a parade or a cargo trailer for trips. Before this product, I just had a ball hitch through the back bumper. It did the job, but finally wore out. Plus, it was quite a steep angle for the trailer to lock onto to. At the recommendation of another etrailer client, he found this item for my truck, I bought it, and we installed it together. I really like how the trailer links down lower now, the mount is strong and durable, good quality, and ball accessories can be interchanged pretty easily. The video on the website was very helpful with the installation.
Don’t waste your time or money buying anything else. This fit like a glove and was well made. Fast shipping as well.
Fit great on my Dodge Ram. After 1 year it still is in great shape.

As for the Draw tite hitch its still in great shape.

I received this product on a timely manner. Had no problem installing hitch on my truck. Was very pleased with the quality of the hitch.
Ordered this class 3 Draw-Tite for my '04 Ram. Absolutely perfect fit. Installation was no problem...took about 45 minutes. Would've gone faster, but I didn't have a 15/16" socket...had to use adjustable wrenches. Shipping was fast.

the easiest install everthis product was so easy to install, who ever came up with that pull wire is a genius. it looks great and functions great as well.

Better than FactoryAs with many products we all wonder will it match up to the description and the ease of instalation.... WELL THIS ONE DOES!! If you put a Dodge sticker on it, you would think it was a full factory instalation. Had the hitch installed in less than 30 minutes and everyting put up. Excellent product!!!!!!
