My experience with the trailer hitch is not positive. The return process is costly & trying to get a missing part to make the hitch fit on my vehicle would require me to purchase another full hitch package. I have not used it and it’s been a complete waste. The hitch did not fit on my vehicle, without needing to remove part of the bumper to have it fit. Not recommended unless you have the tools to cut grooves in the bumper or have extra spacers to get a fit that works.
We installed this on our E150 campervan so we could haul extra cargo or a bike rack. It's definitely more hitch than we need since we're not towing anything (yet). We landed on this particular hitch because the price wasn't much different than the lower-class models, and - the big selling point - this one didn't require any frame drilling for installation.
Speaking of, installation was straightforward and easy to understand. I managed to install it by myself, though as with any hitch it would be easier with an extra set of hands. I used a jack stand to hold the other side of the hitch in place.
The hitch is ridiculously strong and I would have no reservations about hauling some serious weight if I had an accessory that fit snugly in the receiver.
The only complaint I have is that the receiver has too much play. It's listed as a 2" receiver, but both of the 2" accessories I use (and several others I tried at the store) have a lot of "slop" as the opening actually measures something like 2-3/16". (See photo) Adding the bolt to secure the hitch in the receiver steadies lightweight loads, but I would be concerned that the stress of a heavy load would be too much for that connection point.

Works well for our use - we are usually either hauling a cargo bin or a bike rack, so this hitch handles those items nicely.
Purchased this hitch bc it was confirmed it would bolt on my 2002 E-150 with no drilling, it's more hitch than I need for a bike rack (I've seen other reviews mention this) but it indeed installed easily and came with everything necessary. We didn't even need to move the canister, it was not too close to the bolting location on the frame. We watched the 2003 Ford van install video and it gave us all the info needed. Really happy with this purchase and etrailer for having all the info we needed available and answering questions promptly!
This hitch is a beast. Highly recommend if looking for a heavy duty hitch.
Went on easy, perfect fit, did it by myself with the help of a hydrolic jack to hold it up. Took about twenty minutes. Customer service was quick to respond for getting feedback, very appreciated! Review pictures of install helped make my decision, and a great price also. Made in Mexico, however, hopefully will be made in USA soon.

Super great, no rust yet, still solid...pulls my 5k pound boat no problem!
Simple installation by myself. No drilling required was my biggest need,as I didn't feel like dropping $20 on drill bits to get through hardened steel. Took 15 or twenty minutes to get it all bolted up.

No problems whatsoever. Been towing pontoon every weekend. No corrosion on receiver. All hardware still tight, have recommended etrailer to several people since.
My hitch arrived missing one of the flanged locknuts, but after calling in I was quickly sent a new bag of parts without question.
Highly pleased. The quality of the hitch and the customer service is beyond expectation. I will be ordering from y'all again, for sure!
Fit perfectly for my 2009 Ford E350, ext passenger van. No drilling was required.
Well made hitch and simple to install.i installed it by myself a year ago. I put an aftermarket step into the reciever as both were cheaper than buying a step bumper. This route gave me the ability to pull a trailer should the need arise. Also no signs of rust yet.
Product went on as described in the video. Did struggle a bit to get the socket on the nut with the way the crossbar fits through the weld. Other than that I don’t know why I put it off as long as I did.

Have used the hitch a lot over the last year no issues what so ever. Have crawled under just to check for coming loose and still no issues at all didn’t have to tighten anything.
I recently bought a Ford E350 van for towing and camping. I needed to install a trailer hitch.
I shopped [another online retailer] as well as local RV stores and then remembered etrailer. I found the hitch I needed at the lowest price and as luck would have it, a Sunday free shipping offer. The hitch arrived quickly and fit perfectly.

I have been doing business with etrailer for almost 10 years, for my personal and work related needs. Always received quality products at a reasonable price with great customer service. The hitch receiver I installed today took almost an hour to install, the instructions included were straight forward and NO drilling, a plus, packed well with all the hardware needed for the install.
It is well built and installed nicely. I was not expecting it to stick out as far as it does. The installation video shows it more recessed under the bumper allowing for room to mount trailer light connections.
I received my hitch when they said it would be there. The over condition of the product is excellent,and the installation instructions are very easy to follow. I had the hitch installed in less then 30 mins. I highly recommend etrailer for all your towing ,and hauling needs. Fair prices and great customer service.
the hitch I purchased is a high quality unit, easy to install and fits as expected. We use the hitch for towing, but it doubles as a location to mount my hoyer lift that puts me in my cyclekart!

I received my hitch really fast after ordering!!! I was notified it's location while it was in route. This hitch is extremely well made. And bolted right up to the factory holes in the frame(NO DRILLING!!) Very easy installation. I highly recommend this hitch! A++++
Installation was simple (actually, you'd have to work at it to mess it up). Good instructions and easy to follow. Good, solid product that does exactly what I need it to do.
A fantastic product at the lowest price I could find. Product arrived in two days, shipping was free and super fast.
First of all let me mention that this is third hitch I have purchased in past two years and I'm always impressed with customers service and fast shipping. The quality of the last one was little bit less than I was expecting. The coating was chipped on multiple places before I installed it and it was not due shipping. The box is in excellent condition. I ordered a hitch for my van and van and the quality/ price were great. It’s not installed yet but this was the best desk on a class V hitch that I could find.

I'm sorry that you had trouble getting this hitch to fit. I have spoken with some of our install team, and they have confirmed that unless the welds on the bumpers beam are extra thick or uneven, then you should have been able to install this hitch to your 2003 Ford Van with the washers provided. If you are needing extra washers than what is provided, then you would need to purchase the hardware kit, part # RHK, and place the hitches number 41945, in the box.
