Product was packaged right. shipped fast. The welds look real good and the hitch is very heavy ! I got free shipping on what looks like a great product.

Except for the "cardboard" packaging, which was torn up pretty bad, the receiver hitch got here in great condition, with NO missing parts. This hitch is more then what I was counting on. This thing is so "beefy" that the frame of the truck would bend before the hitch wound. If anyone wants a beefy hitch, then this is it.

On a 1978 GMC K2500 8' pickup truck, this was not a simple bolt-on. Cutting, drilling and grinding was necessary. This hitch is made very heavy and very well. Includes 5/8" fine thread mounting bolts.
Excellent quality and strength. Why skimp on something as important as your hitch? I have purchased three of these Draw Tites - I guess a repeat customer will scream about the true quality a company can garner from repeat customers. When you pull show cars worth six figures, you can't afford a poorly made hitch.
Step up, step out, and don't fret what you are pulling.
Installed the hitch on my 1966 C20. Went in without a problem. I have a Baren Bumper and a rear gas tank. No issues. I did have to loosed & retighted the bumper so the hitch would fit to the frame tight. The receiver fit tight under the step bumper and slightly back from the edge of the bumper. Super clean install.
The bumper came with stretch wrap around it. So there were areas where the finish was worn off. It would have been nice to see it wrapped in cardboard or something to protect the finish.
This fit perfectly and securely on my 1993 C3500HD dump. I had no issues installing it, aside from drilling through the 1/4" steel frame on the truck but that is to be expected. Fast shipping and great customer service.
Great Heavy Duty Hitch, Perfect Fit
The receiver hitch was very nice, very well made and shipped quick. However the mounting hardware was not shipped with it. I sent a message, and quickly received a reply about the missing hardware. So I will see what happens. It's not a big issue, I can go to a hardware store and buy six bolts. The price was great, the hitch is exceptional quality, and I received it within just a few days.

I recommend waiting for the hardware that has been shipped out. The manufacturer of the hitch prefers to have the provided hardware used for warranty purposes.
This is a great hitch, but the application and fit for my 1971 Chevrolet k20 is very poor. The installation instructions say that the hitch is for a 34" frame, which mine is, but the hitch is not 34" wide to match the frame, it is 33 5/16", narrower by almost 3/4". Because my frame necks down in the rear and the width of the hitch combines to put the rear holes to within a 1/4" of the inside edge of the frame. Not a great idea!
Just put this on my 1972 chevy c20, some people had said it didn’t line up, that the assembly was too narrow, this isn’t true, all you have to do is slot the first hole closest to the tailgate on the frame inward, you do have to drill all new holes, but even if the assembly was a little wider they wouldn’t line up anyway, not sure why people are up set about drilling new holes, says right on the ad that you must drill anyway, took about an hour start to finish, very pleased, this thing is heavy duty!

Glad I chose Draw-Tite! Still very pleased with hitch
Had to drill the frame holes out from 1/2" to 9/16" and the hitch bolted right in. Not to mention the fast shipping. I couldn't be happier.
Good value and well built
Hitch will fit nice in this 63 c20 chassis. Packaging was not good and paint was flaked off in multiple locations.

Nice heavy built hitch. Fast shipping. Only problem I have is how it was shipped. Was put in cardboard box which couldn't support the weight or akwardness of the hitch. Box was mostly destroyed when I I received it and the heavy staples holding box together had put a lot of deep scratches on the new powdercoat paint of the hitch. I think they should ship with either heavy shrink wrap instead of box.
