Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Highly recommend this hitch for c/k series GM trucks. Good quality workmanship, has 6k/600lb rating, designed to fit up high almost hidden under rear bumper, easy to install. I did have to reposition my spare tire slightly forward about 2" or so when placed back up but is not a problem. It has a build in mount for the trailer connector which is perfect for the 7 blade connector.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 1990 Chevy C10 Single Cab
I'm going to assume you have the standard or step bumper on your 1990 Chevy C10 Single Cab, and the hitch I recommend for your truck is an option from Draw-Tite: - Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41524 I like the # 41524 the most for your '90 Chevy C10 because unlike most hitches for your Single Cab it does not require any drilling into the frame to install. It also has a solid 6,000 lb towing and 600 lb tongue weight capacity but that jumps to 10,000 lbs towing and 1,000...

  • Hitch Options for a 1992 Chevy Truck C/K Series
All of the hitches you referenced with the exception of part # 13028 have been confirmed to fit your 1992 Chevy Pickup. The rest, part # 41524, # 75033 , and # 75099 have all been confirmed as a fit. The main difference between Draw-Tite trailer hitches # 75033 and # 75099 is the placement of the receiver tube on the cross member. On 75033 the receiver is attached to the rear part of the cross member. On 75099 it is welded below the cross member so that the cross member will not be...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2003 Chevy Suburban that Cant Accept a Hitch from a 1995 Suburban
The trailer hitches for the 1995 Chevy Suburban do not fit the 2003 models. We do have numerous hitches that will fit the 2003 though and I have included a link to them. The most popular option is # C15324. This is a Class V hitch with a 2 inch receiver. I have linked the instructions for you. If your Suburban did not come with a trailer connector at the back you can add a 4-Way flat using # C59236. The recommended ball mount is # C45341. It takes a ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank such as...

  • Best Adjustable Trailer Hitch for 1997 Chevrolet Pickup
I do have an option however it will require a new trailer hitch receiver. There is no adapter to go from a bumper hitch ball to a lower height. I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Class III trailer hitch receiver # 41524. There is no drilling required for installation and the hitch is quite hidden under the bumper. There is a picture attached of the hitch receiver on a Chevrolet very similar to yours. I also suggest an Curt Adjustable ball mount # C45900. You mentioned that you're...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Options for 1989 Chevy K2500 Long Bed
The best option for a trailer hitch receiver on your 1989 Chevy K2500 long bed is the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41524. I like this one because it is designed as a custom fit for your truck and the cross tube is mostly hidden. It has a 6,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity. Keep in mind it will NOT fit if your truck is a Crew Cab.

  • Does Trailer Hitch from 1999 Chevy Tahoe fit 1999 C2500 Pickup
No you would have to go with a hitch specifically fit for your truck as the Tahoe hitches only fit other GM SUVs. The part # 41524 that you referenced would be an example of a hitch that would fit your 1999 Chevy C/K 2500.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 1989 Chevy K1500 Sportside Pickup
The best way to tell if your 1989 Chevrolet K1500 is a Heavy-Duty (HD) or Light-Duty (LD) version would be to obtain your VIN and call the dealer as they would be able to tell you whether or not you have the HD or LD version. Another way to tell if your truck is an HD or LD would be to look at the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).
