Everything was simple to install on my Cruze. The bolts were alittle hard to get in at first because they didn't fit in the holes in the frame so we had to feed them down through the frame which took a bit but once we got that in, everything was very easy from there on out! It looks great on my car and I can't wait to test it out!

Great price, outstanding service and hitchwas delivered in 3 days- oh and the hitch was easy to install on my wifes Chevy Cruze. Took about 30 minutes for someone who isn't the most mechanically inclined individual. You will need 2 people to install it (one to hold it in place, the other to attach the screws; I used my 8 year old kid to hold it in place). The only possible negative is that the instructions were lacking. The instructions could use some better photos and focus on one model of vehicle vs having 2 types of vehicles listed which madethe instructions somewhat confusing (Chevy Cruz and Buick ?). Definately impressed with etrailer.com. You got a life long customer from this first time buyer.
Hitch was as described and easy to install. Crossmember is fully hidden behind rear facia. There was one typo in the installation instructions calling for items #1 and 4 to be installed with the pull wire. It should have said items #1 and 2. Small needlenose pliers were helpful grabbing the pull wire through the mounting hole.
This is by far the easiest hitch I've ever installed. It is helpful to have a pair of long nose pliers too. I attached the metal piece and bolt to the wires, then threaded them through and grabbed the wire with the pliers. The wiring is a little more difficult, but still easy. Watch the video, it is very helpful. I did have a problem with the video though, it locked up about half way through for some reason. All in all it's a nice hitch and easy installation. Thanks
Very easy installation. I did it by myself, although I was a little worried when mounting the hitch b/c of pushing the bolts into the frame, if you take your time you won't have a problem.

The crossbar of the hitch stay hidden behind the rear bumper. Nice design.
As other reviewers said, this hitch attaches with no difficulty. Perfect fit and was mounted in short time (maybe 15 minutes after I cleaned some road dirt out of the frame attachment bolt locations). As you might expect for a car that rides this low, the hitch receiver ends up pretty close to the ground, about 9 inches, (see photo). That makes my utility trailer ride a little low in the front, but quite usable. I tried not to use more hitch offset than was recommended.
Ordered the hitch to fit my exact car . Hitch came in a few days as stated . Was as easy as the video demonstrated to install . Will definitely order from etrailer again.
All the hardware included. Perfect fit. Simple installation. I’m totally pleased with this hitch.

The hitch is solid and is perfect for my 4X6 garden trailer towing.
This is my 4th trailer hitch I’ve bought from etrailer and as always I am completely satisfied. Works great, was super easy to install
This hitch was super easy to install and has worked great. I used it to tow my trailer behind my Cruze from Alaska to Arizona then Florida before ending in Ohio. It was around 8000 miles and worked flawlessly.
Well I wore the 1st one out with rust putting my boat in saltwater and this is the same one I bought in 2014 so I love it
Installed the Draw Tite 24882 on a 2011 Chevy Cruz Eco in about 30 minutes. I have had a Thule 2 bike carrier for 10 years. It fits into a small reciever hitch.This is the third car it's been on. Took the bike to the trails already. No problems. I would note that the Cruz Eco sits low. The front end will bottom out on steep ramps or inclines. I have to cross them slow and sometimes at a 45% angle. This hitch doesn't seem like it would bottom out but the bike carrier might since it sticks out a bit. I haven't had that problem but I may throw the carrier in the trunk if I need to go up or down a steep ramp or driveway.

One year later I am still satisfied with this hitch. I have managed to hit the bottom of the bike rake on the ground when driving down a steep ramp onto a level road. If I make the transition at an angle there is no problem. Without the bike carrier it never bottoms out.
The Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver part # 24882 was a good fit for my 2016 Chevy Cruze LT (Limited). The 2015 Chevy Cruze "how to install" video on the etrailer.com website was very applicable for my 2016 Cruze. The installation was easy using 2 people.
Although I have not attached the bike rack yet, the hitch itself was very simply to install; I did it myself in the parking lot of my apartment complex. The videos on etrailer are extremely helpful with the installation process; without them I wouldn't have attempted to install it on my own. The printed directions that came with the hitch were, in my opinion, written for the Buick Verano because I did not have to lower my exhaust or cut the heat shield on my Chevy Cruze, which obviously made installing the hitch much easier and quicker. I would definitely recommend this hitch as well as a review of the installation videos available on etrailer.

Hitch hangs low to the ground line of the car. Depending on grade and what you install, it may rub on the ground. with a 4 bike kuat bike rack, the rack will touch of on the ground.

Rob,Thank you for your review. We normally do not recommend a 4 bike rack on a class 1 hitch. This hitch can handle up to 200 lb of tongue weight and the force of 4 bikes plus the weight of the rack may exceed that. We do recommend to carry only 2 bikes on the class 1 hitch. The 2 bikes should be closest to the vehicle. This may help with the bike rack rubbing the ground.
It went on my Diesel Chevy Cruze hassle free! It is well built and the shipping was fast! I am towing a small motorcycle trailer and it has handled to great! I would recommend this product to anyone in the market.

Ted, we have a 2014 diesel chevy cruz and the def tank seems to be in the way of mounting the hitch. Did you have that problem? If so, how did you mount it?
