I have ordered from Etrailer several times over the years and have been extremely happy with the products and service. Excellent technical detail and quick delivery. My only issue with the recent order was the condition of the packaging when delivered. The hitch had broken out the end of the box and the face of the receiver was dinged up a little. I haven't installed the hitch yet so I hope all of the hardware is still in the box and didn't escape out of the broken end of the shipping box. Jenny N - 03/24/2022Perfect fit for my Jeep Grand Cherokee L 2022. The install video is very clear and made the process straight forward. The fascia can hide the hitch when not in use so that's perfect. It took me 2h30 to install with the harness.
I am 100% satisfied about this item, the directions in the video are crustal clear, foolproof, I recommend this product, high quality!
Perfect fit on my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Just using the instructions provided, the install was simple. Taking my time only took about an hour and a half to install. Once installed the whole hitch is completely hidden when not in use.
The video is well done. It took about 1 1/2 hours to install. Everything fit perfectly. The only change I made is that I didn’t mess with the exhaust, I used wrenches instead of a impact wrench to remove and install the 6 bolts in the frame. It would also help to have a second person to un connect and reconnect the wire plugs on each side in front of the exhaust, this might not be a problem if you are using a hoist but I didn’t have one available
The hitch was really easy to install. The hardest part is taking off the bumper facia. I vehicle was the Grand Cherokee L Summit and I had to cut the outside of the square tubing where it protruded through the mounting bracket. It was hitting my satin trim plate bracket around the exhaust. What I cut was nothing structural.
Horizontal square tubing was about a 1/4" too wide for facia bumper to go back in correctly so I had to trim it down with hack saw... Other than that it was an easy install. Installed on 2021 jeep Grand Cherokee L.
Have yet to install, the shipping box was smashed and the ears on the hitch are chipped down to Baer metal

However, please note that it is not plug and play with the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland, as the dual exhaust ports conflict with the extension of the hitch tube beyond the bracket that mounts to the vehicle. We had to cut some of the plastic mount behind the bumper cover to allow room for the ends of the hitch.
I've never done a hitch install before. It took me six hours from start to finish for hitch and wiring. Would definitely do it again. The video made getting the plastic "bumper" in the middle off easier than it was for me. Kinda have to get something flat in there to help release clips under the hatch seal. Otherwise, I saved some money doing it my self and gave me something to do on a rainy day. Thanks.
I bought a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Jeep said they would not have the hitch available until late May. The Draw-Tite hitch fit perfectly. Thanks
Installed this morning with exceptional ease. Also installed wiring harness. Total job time was 3.5 hours. No cussing and no fussing. Install video way better than instructions packaged.
Installation is straight forward if you are relatively handy. The instructional video is fantastic. Took me roughly 2 hours, make sure you have a 21 and 22mm socket. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a hitch on a Grand Cherokee L
Hitch seems well built, it's a draw-tite product would you expect any less? I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the issues with installation. The receiver is about 1.5" longer on the sides of the curved bar than the factory bumper. This isn't a problem with any trim level limited or lower. However, the Overland and Summit have the rear bumper exhaust ports. The brackets for the exhaust ports interferes with the receiver because of the extra width. The brackets need to be cut down to fit. Was not a fun surprise or process.

Perfect fit and finish. The installation video was spot on and made the job much easier. Got it done in under 3 hours in my well equipped shop by myself. Just needed an extra hand to hold it in place to start the bolts.
