Easy install. A lot heavier than the stock hitch and looks great.

A year later, still satisfied. A nice, well built hitch that works exactly as expected.

Installed without much frustration on my 2006 Chevy 1500 long bed single cab. Looks clean as the bulk of the receiver is hidden behind the bumper. I used the HM40975 4/7 pin combo trailer connector with this and used self tappers to attach it directly to the receiver frame. Meets my needs for occasionally pulling a utility trailer with a lawnmower or atv for about a year now. Also pulled a couple heavy loads of firewood on a 16 ft tandem axle with no issues.

The Hitch receiver is exactly as depicted in the photos which is what I had wanted. Very difficult to find this Category IV hitch. Thankfully etrailer had it! A great price too. Have not yet installed it but suspect it will go on fine based on the shape and bolt pattern. Also in the Q&A page was another person with exactly the same question I had about fit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD. Construction is what I wanted, heavy duty steel, all welded, and paint looks like it will hold up. Shipping package was very good, a competitor shipped a hitch to me that had no packaging and it was scratched and minor damage......But etrailer had a nice box and proper packaging inside. This will serve for hauling our 2 horse trailer and I needed a little extra tongue weight and GTW capability.

It was a perfect fit better built than the factory installed hitch

I bent the stock hitch on my 03 Silverado. Ordered a C14332 it arrived in a few days. Straight forward installation. Much heavy duty than the stock round tube hitch. The reciever opening is approximately an inch higher the the original hitch.

The service was great and the install on my 2006 Chev Pickup was a piece of cake. It fit like a glove. I went from the original class 3 (??? Maybe even a class 2) hitch to a class 4 because the old one from the factory started to wear out in the lock pin area so we had movement back and forth when we started up. The new one from etrailer was twice the thickness then the old one. I also purchased a new lock pin since my old locking pin was also worn where it went thru the hitch and receiver. Very happy and it only took my friend and I 1 hour to install using air tools..

Just pulled tent trailer this Easter weekend. Hitch and wiring hook up did its job. I like how hitch design in hidden, so only receiver and wiring socket is visible on my silverado chevy pickup. Thanks

Nicely built hitch but the hardware was poor quality. Washers didn’t fit over the bolts etc. I’d still buy again but it’s a shame having to reuse a few of the old bolts.

I’ve purchased multiple items from etrailer and their products and customer service are always excellent. The class IV hitch and new 7-way plug arrived in four days and fit perfectly. I’ll definitely use them again.

Excellent product. It pulls a tandem axle trailer every day and has never had an issue.

Bought this trailer hitch to replace the original one that came with the truck, to upgrade to a class IV from OEM class III. All hardware except a mounting plate for the trailer wiring were included. The installation was a simple bolt-on with all nuts, bolts, brackets of higher quality than the OEM hitch. Perfect fit no re-drilling required. After a year of use still looks like new, the powder coat is holding fine to New England sand and salt road conditions.

Comments
Still very happy with this hitch, now on second year and looks like new almost. No issues of any sort to highlight.

I love the hitch and the only reason it does t get 5 stars from me is because part of it was just slightly bent, making it a pain to install. After grabbing a pry bar it went great and love the look! Looks super sturdy

We are really happy with our purchase. The hitch performs as advertised. It was missing a couple small parts when it arrived, however, etrailer's OUTSTANDING customer service immediately shipped us the tiny parts needed. Thank you. Will definitely check here for trailering needs because of excellent product, good prices, and outstanding service.

Struggled some to get the bolt holes to line up. One bracket was bent toward the center as if it had been dropped. Took about 45 minutes of additional work that would not have been necessary. Once I got over that frustration, I really like the hitch. Solid construction at a good price, fast shipping. Would reccommend to others.

The hitch still looks as great as it did the day that I installed it. It’s been around a year now, and it’s been working great for when I’ve needed it. It’s been used for hauling cars, wood, and ATVs. etrailers had the best deal when I bought this, they shipped everything quickly, and their customer care service is awesome!

I've had this hitch installed on my truck for one year now. I installed it by myself the day it arrived. It took me 1 hour. I could have had it done in 30 minutes with a buddy. Super easy install. great build quality. Looks great. My 2000 v-6 4.3 pulls things is has no business pulling. Makes me smile and feel warm inside. I'm glad I went with this model. I cannot think of any shortcomings. I have to also give a hand to etrailer for making everything so easy. You've gained a customer for life.

  • Trailer Hitch for 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD With Roll Pan Bumper
The only roll pan bumper-compatible receiver hitch we offer for a 2001 Chevy Silverado is a Class III, part # 13932. A fold down license plate holder would be a handy accessory. We have one available as part # 8802. I've linked to an install video for the # 13932 hitch.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 1500
For your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 the hitch I recommend is the mostly hidden and higher capacity Curt Class IV part # C14332. This hitch installs easily, has more towing capacity than you'll need, and since it's mostly hidden looks better too. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

  • Will Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch C14332 Fit a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD
For the 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD you would just select 1500 when looking at trailer hitches. The 1500HD still has the same frame as the 1500LD just different suspension/axle components and a few other odds and ends that would not affect the fit of a trailer hitch and make it essentially the 2500LD. So you can install Curt Class IV trailer hitch # C14332 on your truck! The recommended ball mount is # C45341 and it has a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop. If the ball mount does not have the...

I agree, why go with a Class III when you can have a Class IV trailer hitch on your 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic 1500. A Class IV though could be rated for more weight than the truck. You would need to check the vehicle owners manual for the towing capacity of your specific truck and, if lower, go by the lower rating. Curt hitch # C14332 is a good value Class IV hitch that will fit your truck. Curt has a high quality powder coating on their hitches that will help resist corrosion so...

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14332 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 as long as it isn't the SS model. This Class IV hitch will use existing holes in the truck's frame for a no-drill installation. It features a 10,000 pound towing weight capacity and a 1,000 pound tongue weight limit. I also recommend checking your truck's owner's manual for its specific capacities, as you will need to follow whichever limit is lower (the truck's or...
