Need good coordination and yoga moves for a 1-person install; but a floor jack helped hold it in place.
I haven’t had it installed yet so I may change this review. The box came torn open. The hitch itself is completely scratched up as if it was used or returned. I thought I was buying a new part and for the money I had to spend, it should not be scratched. I included photos but the limit was 3 and I have 4. I’m not very happy considering this was an early present for my son.
Our purchased custom fit hitch receiver was truly “custom fit”. It was easy to install on our SUV to haul two electric bikes and works perfectly!
Took about an hour single-handed. Used floor jack to support hitch while maneuvering in place. best to remove screws holding under-bumper facia holding the hands-free light projector to allow room for the hitch to pass by. Perfect fit. etrailer videos rock.
The install of this trailer hitch receiver took about one hour. I have an advantage as I have a 4 post lift in my second garage, this made the access to the rear of my vehicle quite simple. I did need the second pair of hands, my wife was glad to help with this install.
Installation was a breeze. I'm 72 so it took me 10 minutes longer. Thanks for all your advice.

Great product, easy installation, outstanding support from everyone I worked with.
Took me about an hour and the help of my son and son in law to get it done, but it saved me $800 from the dealer’s quote. 2 people could have done it, but 2 to hold the hitch up until I got the bolts started really made it easy. The wiring adapter took less than 5minutes and has worked perfectly.

Well constructed and instructed design. Took less than 35 minutes and my grandson assisted. I especially liked the fishwire system.
Quality of the receiver was better than I expected. Material throughout is 1/4 inch and the welds are laid well too, like their welder knows what they’re doing. Feels really well built with really durable textured powder coating. Installation was simple, took me 15 minutes after watching the installation video. Receiver is tucked away nicely behind the factory bumper cover when not in use. Highly recommend this receiver to anyone on the fence with deciding to purchase.
Haven't used hitch yet but ordering was easy and the installation was a breeze, thanks to great design and fantastic installation video.
The product looks great, but the shipping box was BAD, the hitch was not secured in the box so it flopped around inside and made a large hole in the side of the box and ripped open the bolt package. We had loose nuts and bolts floating around inside and easily could have lost some out the two handle holes or the hole that was made by the hitch flopping around. The hitch MUST be secured inside the box.
Paul at the store was very knowledgeable and attentive to what I needed. The hitch was received on time and emails were sent to me keeping me alert on delivery information. I am extremely happy with your company and with Paul.

Seriously impressed with the ease of installation! Comes with wire to fish the mounting bolts through the frame rail. Installed very nicely in my 2018 Cadillac XT5.
