This is the 3rd hitch that I have purchased from etrailer and every transaction has been excellent. The team is extremely quick in processing orders and their pricing and customer service are going to be hard to beat. They provide very detailed instructions to make sure the installation process goes as smoothly as possible. The only I did differently was to thread a bolt into every bolt hole and then back it out at the beginning to ensure I would not run into any issues when I actually had the hitch in position ready to install.
I did go online and I looked up various tow hinges for my Acura MDX 2020 with different companies out there and I came across etrailer products and services and the video detail in which they had the product I was interested for my vehicle really nailed it for me. The demonstration was awesome. I quickly called their toll free number and I spoke to Joshua B with the sales department and he took he's time to assist me in purchasing the product I needed for my vehicle. Easy to install! Works well used it same day it came in. Only issues is shipping. Don't know if packaging failed or UPS threw it around, nothing was damaged but it looked like it fault for its life.

Not too damaged in shipment had spray a couple spots but no big deal.the hitch was easy to install by myself using a floor jack to raise hitch into place. I would recommend the hitch to anyone.

Great hitch and I like the finish from the house brand so to speak. Second hitch from etrailer and couldn’t be happier.
High quality product and install is fairly easy. I’m just using it for a Swagman RV bike rack which is also a great product.
Hitch fits in great and is built very sturdy. Definitely a great edition to an SUV and very easy to install!
The hitch arrived in perfect condition. I invited my brother over to give me a hand installing the unit. Everything lined up perfectly and the installation was straightforward. The trick was to clean the threads in the chassis throughly before the install.
Since we installed it in the driveway on our backs we simply couldn’t get enough leverage to fully tighten the bolts.I brought it to a local shop that put the MDX on the lift and tightened everything with an impact wrench.
That was it. I only use the hitch for a bicycle rack. And it has been great for that light duty task.
Highly recommended. Solid quality at a very good price point.

Been using the hitch for a year. Still looks great. I use a cap on it when its not in use. Again I use it only for a bike rack but its been perfect.
The hitch receiver fit perfectly. Installation was straightforward. Because of rust I needed to re-tap the nuts welded to the frame before I could bolt the receiver hitch to the frame. Customer service gave me all the information I needed to get them tapped properly. So happy with the results.
Priced was speaking my language , couldn’t be happier with the product. Got shipped to my door faster than I could count the money I saved. Only minor gripe was that the box was a tad damaged when it arrived but let’s be real here, it was clearly (courier) fault . Those guy suck.

Phew, glad that we are speaking the same language. Sometimes I question myself even though English is my first language.
Product was easy to install within an hour (includes time to remove/reinstall the spare tire on 2016 Honda Pilot)! I recommend having someone help you lift it into place while installing the included bolts and washers. Box had a couple of holes and paint was rubbed off the lip of the hitch. The shipper should add extra cardboard padding or a heavier gauge box to reduce chance of damage to hitch.
This hitch was a perfect fit for our 2019 Acura MDX hybrid. Although the MDX hybrid is not rated for towing, it is already prepped to receive a hitch. We won't be towing anything, but installed this to carry our bikes. Therefore didn't need the harness for lights and brake controllers.
This was a simple install and all parts and instructions were included. Our MDX is essentially new, so the mounting nuts, which are factory install and pre-welded to the frame, needed no cleaning. If dirty, a simply wire brush and a few spritzes of water should clean those out. Overall, it took about 10 minutes to unpack and install. My 16yo son and I picked a side, slid under the car, supported the hitch (about 50 lbs.) on our knees and screwed in the bolts. Once torqued to spec, the hitch was rock solid.
Overall, this seems to be an excellent product, perfect for our limited needs.

After a year, the hitch continues to do exactly what its supposed to, provide a secure means to attach our bike rack to our SUV. The Acura MDX hybrid is not rated for towing, but there are no restrictions limiting the use of a hitch mounted bike rack. In fact, all mounting points are provided. Accordingly, we installed the hitch as described in my prior review without any difficulty. After a year of regular use, it remains rock solid. No hesitation recommending this hitch.
Extra tough great for heavy duty tasks
Quick free shipment and fair price. It’s also nice to talk to a US based company with great customer service on the phone. Nobody had a 2” Curt trailer hitch for my Acura MDX so the only option was etrailer’s brand. I had it installed by a local mechanic and he liked the quality and ease of installation of this tow bar. It only took him 40 minutes to attach the hitch and install the wiring harness. Thank you for coming through etrailer!

Trailer hitch still works great after using it for a year.
Great fit and comfort in travel knowing how well it's built to carry cargo. Also, the customer service received and handling minor shipping issue was fantastic through customer service rep George. So glad I found this hitch, and especially etrailer.com. Install was simple. 6 bolts. I did it by myself without any issues. In my case I just want to be able to use my bike rack and hitch haul, and don't need any wiring. This is the way to go! etrailer has great resources, and I LOVE that it's all on the same page and I don't have to go search for it. A++ on all counts!!

This is a very quality product and it installed perfectly on the vehicle. The instructions were great and it was a simple install. I would highly recommend this product to a friend or family member.
I am very satisfied with etrailer and the Receiver Hitch I purchased from them for my 2018 Acura MDX. The package arrived quickly and the box and its contents were in perfect condition. I was able to install the product myself (without a lift or any other person helping), and I am 72 years old. I highly recommend etrailer and their products!
