It's going to feature a durable rust resistant double chrome platting and the hitch ball's going to come with your lock washer and it's going to come with a nut, so all that's included. It's also going to come with a little set of instructions that let you know some installation instructions as well as making sure that you get it properly torqued down when you're ready to install it. Now, the ball diameter on the unit is two and 5/16ths of an inch. We're going to take a measurement of the shank real quick. This is going to give us an overall length of two and 3/8ths of an inch and it's going to give us a shank diameter of an inch and 1/4, and this has a weight capacity of 10 thousand pounds. When you install it, this goes through the hitch ball hole opening on the weight distribution head.

On the underside of the head, you place on the lock washer followed by the nut. Then again, according to the instructions that come with it, you want to get it torqued down properly. • Recommended Equal-i-zer Hitch For A 2024 Jayco Flight 225MLS And Instruction Manual
Hello Ron. I was able to find the instructions for the 12K Equal-i-zer Hitch # EQ37120ET and I have linked those instructions for you below. So, it is a slightly higher rated hitch, but the instructions will be the same. As far as your 2024 Jayco Flight 225MLS, the # EQ90-00-1000 is a great choice. You are correct that you will need to buy a ball separately, and for that I recommend part # EQ91-00-6100 which is a 2-5/16" ball. You will also need a thin walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800.

  • Comparison of Fastway and Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems for 3,000 Pound Trailer
Both the Fastway # FA94-00-0600 and the Equal-i-zer # EQ37060ET are rated for 600 pounds tongue weight which once your trailer is loaded and you factor in any weight in the back of your 2016 Chrysler Town and Country that is right where you want to be. A couple of differences to consider, the Fastway does not include a hitch ball, but of course you can purcahse either a 2 inch, # EQ91-00-6080, or 2-5/16 inch, # EQ91-00-6100. Also, and the biggest difference, is that the Equal-i-zer uses...

  • Best Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System For Trailer with 795 Lb Dry Tongue Weight
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System is an excellent choice so if this is a system you are interested in I would not hesitant as it has exceptional sway control and it comes with a ten year warranty so you know it will last. That said, if you have a dry tongue weight of 795 lbs, I recommend the part # FA92-00-1200 which is rated for up to 12,000 lbs gross trailer weight or 1,200 lbs tongue weight. The part # FA92-00-1000 or part # FA94-00-1000 which is rated for up to 10,000 lbs gross...

  • Recommendation to Reduce Rear Sag on 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler When Towing Trailer
The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSJRJK referenced in your question are confirmed to fit your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited. These are designed to replace the factory bump stops on your Jeep and will provide a stronger unit that will do a better job of supporting the rear suspension and absorbing energy and cushioning road shock. These should definitely help a bit with the rear sag on your Jeep when hooking up to a trailer, but it's not your best option. When rear sag on a vehicle...

Because the top of the receiver opening can have different size collars from hitch to hitch, we measure from the top of the inside opening to make sure it is consistent. I've attached an article to assist. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion # FA92-00-0450 has a maximum rise from the ball platform of 6 inches, and maximum drop of 2 inches and adjustments 1-1/4 inches in between. • Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System
Equal-i-zer weight distribution system # EQ37040ET, which is the same as the product you referenced does not require a 2-5/16" hitch ball; I took a look at the Equal-i-zer site and could not find a reference to that. However, if you need a 2-5/16" ball then the right one would be the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ91-00-6100. It is also recommended you use Thin Walled Socket for Equal-i-zer Hitches # EQ70-00-4800 to make installation of this ball a little...

  • Recommendation for Fighting Trailer Sway
If you are wanting to use a Friction Sway Control Kit, like part # 83660, then all you will need is the Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26003 for your 2 inch ball mount. As convenient as the price of a sway control kit is, I highly recommend going with a Weight Distribution (WD) system instead. Not only will it ensure that your towing setup is level, but it will also have an integrated sway control that allows you to back up, unlike the kit. When you choose a WD system you will want to...

  • Parts Needed For Towing a 2023 Coleman 17B Travel Trailer With a 2022 Ford Explorer
I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 for your 2022/2023 Coleman 17B travel trailer. This hitch is rated for a tongue weight of 400-800lbs and a maximum trailer weight of 8,000lbs. With a dry tongue weight of 385lbs by the time they add a 40-50lb battery and the 20lbs of propane you are already up to 450lbs before you add any gear to your trailer. This hitch will help to level your 2022 Ford Explorer as well as reduce trailer sway that is caused by wind on the highway....

  • Weight Distribution for a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country and 5,500 Pound Travel Trailer
To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. There are a few figures to look first. Your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country owner's manual shows that the maximum towing capacity of the vehicle is 3,600 pounds with 2 people and luggage and the tongue weight...

This weight distribution hitch will require a separate 2-1/2 inch shank like the Reese Titan Weight Dist Shank # RP54976 or # RP54977 for a deeper drop. • Choosing a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System for 550 TW
If you fully load your trailer and find it has a tongue weight of 550 lbs and towing weight of 6,200 lbs, then ideally you should choose a weight distribution system's where your tongue weight sits middle-road of the system's capacity. As for a Fastway e2 option, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW - Round Bar # FA94-00-0800 is a good option. This system has a described tongue weight capacity of 400 lbs - 800 lbs, and your 550 lbs is just slight below halfway on...

We can absolutely get your 2021 Keystone RV Springdale 1860SS set up with a weight distribution hitch with sway control. And for your camper, which has a 5,000 GVWR, the option I highly recommend is from Fastway: - Fastway e2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800 The reason I like the Fastway more than any other option for your Keystone is because it is the overall best value among weight distribution hitches; it offers high quality at a price that is better than...

  • Recommended Weight Distribution System For 2011 Toyota RAV4 Towing 2500-Lb Trailer
The best way to find a weight distribution system that is best for you is to first determine the tongue weight of your fully-loaded trailer when it is ready to tow. Then add the weight of any cargo you place behind the rear axle of your towing vehicle. That gives you the total tongue weight to consider. You want that weight to fall near the middle of the range of the weight distribution system you choose. If your total TW is over 400 lbs. I recommend the Equali-i-zer weight distribution,...

Just be sure you pick up the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 and you have a thin-walled 1-7/8" socket, like part # ALL643216, and you'll be good to go!

In addition to a trailer hitch, such as # 75528, for your 2016 Buick Enclave you will also need a trailer wiring harness, ball mount, and ball. These are the basic components needed for towing. It looks like the Enclave already has a trailer wiring harness so that plus the hitch means we need to look at ball mounts and balls. I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1000 for your trailer with the 2 UTV's. This system is also rated for a trailer up to 10,000lbs but has a much wider spread tongue weight capacity of 600-1,000lbs. The Curt # C69JR you found requires 800-1,000lbs of tongue weight which is going to be higher than you are going to have on your trailer.
