Today we're going to be taking a look at the two and 5/16ths inch Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems. It's made from a sturdy steel construction. It's going to feature a durable rust resistant double chrome platting and the hitch ball's going to come with your lock washer and it's going to come with a nut, so all that's included. It's also going to come with a little set of instructions that let you know some installation instructions as well as making sure that you get it properly torqued down when you're ready to install it. Now, the ball diameter on the unit is two and 5/16ths of an inch. We're going to take a measurement of the shank real quick. This is going to give us an overall length of two and 3/8ths of an inch and it's going to give us a shank diameter of an inch and 1/4, and this has a weight capacity of 10 thousand pounds. When you install it, this goes through the hitch ball hole opening on the weight distribution head.
On the underside of the head, you place on the lock washer followed by the nut. Then again, according to the instructions that come with it, you want to get it torqued down properly. New to camping two year ago, had a R-Pod first year and now a Forest River FQ 17. Bought the Equal-i-er Weight Distribution system and trailer tows great.
Correct size, good product
Product information on website was useful for selection. Product delivery was good and ontime. Hitch was easy to install and adjust and helps keep my trailer from swaying.

The price for the ball is ok, but then a special socket is needed to attach it and that’s ridiculously priced. Seems price gougey to me.

I've put a little over 4000 miles on the hitch and hitch ball that eTrailer recommended. It tows like a dream and is easy to use. Far better than the ride before weight distribution and it was eTrailer that finally got me into the right solution after several other companies talked me into buying the wrong thing. The hitch is great! I installed the FA92-00-0600 on my 2014 Acura MDX to pull my 2019 Geo Pro 19BH camper. It is night and day between the old and new hitch. Way less bounce and herky jerky when starting and stopping. Really pleased with the hitch.
Installation was straight forward though it took a bit of time to dial in just right. You also need some big wrenches for sure. I also bought the ALL643216 socket to attach the EQ91-00-6100 hitch ball.
The packaging left something to be desired. Part of the box was falling apart and things fell out of the box when I moved it off my doorstep. The hitch is almost 100 lbs so I'm not totally surprised, but this could be improved for sure.

This hitch is very simple to set up and take down while travelling. Drove home with our new 27 foot TT in high wind through the Columbia River Gorge with no problem.

The Hitch ball works with my Equalizer WDH effectively and is solid and sturdy. I have not question it will do the job.

Ordered the Equalizer distribution hitch. I have not had a chance to use it as my new travel trailer has not arrived yet. Very heavy duty and appears to be as advertised. I ordered this after reading several reviews.
