Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Reese Tri-Ball Mount. Now, this ball mount is going to let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, giving you three differently sized balls to meet your towing needs. You are going to receive a 1-7/8" ball, a 2" ball, and a 2-5/16" hitch ball. And to switch between the balls, you're just going to remove this ball mount from your 2" hitch, rotate it to the ball that you need, slide it back in, and then put in your hitch pin and clip, and you will be good to go.
So, lemme go ahead and give you some numbers here just so you can be confident this is going to work for your particular application. So, when you're using the 1-7/8" hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 2,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 200 pounds. And then with the 2" ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 10,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 1,000 pounds. And then with the 2-5/16" hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 16,000 pounds with a tongue weight of 1,600 pounds. Now, the overall length of this shank from just end-to-end, as I hope you can see there, we're sitting right at 12" from end-to-end.
And this does feature a sturdy steel construction with this corrosion -resistant black finish, so I think this is gonna hold up really well for you against the elements. And the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock, both of those are sold separately. So, if you don't have a compatible hitch pin and clip or hitch lock. Let me give you a few recommendations there on your screen. If you're just looking for the hitch pin and clip for 2" hitches, I do have our item number there for that.
However, this is kind of an investment that you're making, and so, I would recommend checking out our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver lock for 2" hitches just to make sure that you've got something that's going to secure this in the back of your vehicle. You're not gonna have to worry about somebody coming by and easily removing this from your trailer hitch receiver. So, either one of those options you can access by using the associated item number. You can take that item number, pop it in the search field of our website, rather, and that will take you to that item and you can add that to your order. This does have a limited lifetime warranty from Reese, and I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
