Hook up your trailer with this ball mount for your 2" hitch. The black nickel finish adds a sleek touch, and the drop and rise help keep your trailer level. Strong, stylish, and ready for your next haul.
No need to worry about installing the hitch ball yourself. The 2" hitch ball comes pre-torqued, so you can slide the mount into your 2" hitch receiver and get towing right away.
Whether you're hauling a small travel trailer, a mid-sized boat, or a car hauler, this ball mount is rated for up to 7,500 lbs of towing capacity with 750 lbs of tongue weight. Designed for SUVs, trucks, and vans with 2" hitch receivers, its a great all-around option for everyday towing needs.
A level trailer is a safer, smoother towing experience. With a built-in 2" drop, this ball mount helps you maintain an even towing height, reducing sway and uneven weight distribution. If your setup needs a little lift instead, just flip it over for a 3/4" rise.
The steel ball mount provides lasting strength, while the black nickel finish on both the mount and hitch ball protects against rust, wear, and the elements. This protective coating helps shield against road grime, rain, and tough conditions, so you can tow with confidence trip after trip.

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Reese ball mount. Now, what's really nice about this is it's gonna come pre-torqued. So as soon as you get it, you can start hauling with it. Now, if you have any experience with this, let us know how it is. And if you do decide to go with it, let us know how you're using it in a comment review below.
So this is gonna be great if you find yourself pulling a trailer, but you need something just with a little bit of a drop because this is gonna have a 2-inch drop to it. And you wanna make sure everything's nice and level for a couple reasons. One, you wanna make sure your hauling experience is nice and safe and you just wanna make it more comfortable. With having everything nice and level is gonna do that for you. Now, this is also gonna have a rise, but it's pre-torqued down in the drop position.
If you want in the rise position, you have to flip it around. All you have to do is pull a pin. Now, it doesn't come with a pin and clip. You have to invest in one yourself. And you'll flip around just like this.
And in this position, it's gonna have a 3/4 inch rise to it. You also notice it's at a little bit of an angle at the very end of the shank. This actually makes it a little bit easier to slide into your receiver. And speaking of which, this is designed to work with 2-inch receivers. The ball is gonna be a 2-inch ball.
So if you have a 2-inch coupler, this is gonna be able to work. Something else we wanna make sure of is gonna be that weight capacity. So this is rated for 7,500 pounds. There's gonna be a couple indicators on here. There's gonna be on the ball if you ever forget. There's also gonna be this sticker right over here that lists the weight capacity too. That sticker probably won't last if you're hauling with this a decent amount. And it's also gonna have a weight capacity of 750 pounds for your tongue weight. Now, what the difference between your towing and your tongue weight is the towing weight is gonna be the weight of the trailer completely being pulled behind your vehicle. And the tongue weight is gonna be the direct force being applied downwards to the ball. And the last thing you wanna do is just get a measurement of how far this is gonna stick away from your receiver. So I'm gonna measure from the center of the pinhole to the center of that ball. And that is gonna be roughly around 8 1/2 inches. So that kind of gives you an idea of how far away this is gonna stick away from your vehicle. Now, in my opinion, I think this is a pretty solid choice. It's something that's gonna be more affordable, especially if you just need a little bit of a drop to pair up with your trailer, so you can have that better towing experience. Now, as for how it comes to visually how it looks, I think it's okay. It's nice and shiny. But if you want something a little bit more low-key or just less noticeable, I actually recommend going with the etrailer ball mounts. There's gonna be one with this exact drop and it's gonna have a black powder coat shank to it, which I think matches a lot of bumpers more. And the ball itself is gonna have this nickel black coating to it. And what I like about that is it's just not gonna show up dents or scratches as easily as something like this. But either way you go, they're both gonna do the job in the same way. But again, this is just a look at the Reese ball mount. I'm Matt. Thanks for watching.
