Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Patriot Hitches Five-Way Three Ball Mount for two inch hitches, rated 30,000 pounds with a nice, beautiful red accent. And the ball mount, as you know, will let you hook up the trailer to the tow vehicle, and you shank here slides into a standard two inch receiver, since this is a two inch by two inch receiver shank. From there, the hitch balls, and in this case a pintle hook or lunette ring attachment, would be able to use with either a two and five 16ths ball. And if you have a two inch or one to seven eighth inch hitch coupler, you could use them as well.
But the lunette ring needs to be used on the two and five 16ths inch ball. Now the D-ring on the bottom is gonna be nice for those off-road and recovery uses that are heavy duty. And you can remove this pintle lock, as they call it. Flip on the bottom side to keep it out of the way of the two and five 16ths inch ball if you need to move it. It's all built of a heavy duty carbon steel, so it's great for ideal heavy load towing.
It's got a textured black powder coat finish and then a red finish on the red accent pieces. You get two five eighths inch hitch, pin and clips included. And again, this is rated 30,000 pounds capacity with a max tongue weight of 2000. Overall, I got 12 inches front to back. Side to side I got seven and five eighth inches.
On a height from this block up, I got seven and five eighth inches as well. From the center of this hitch pin hole with the lunette ring connection to the back, I got six and a half inches. From the center of these holes here on back, I got four and three 16ths on center. And from the farthest one back at the back, I got two and a half inches on center. So folks, again, a great addition if you're looking for a ball mount, and especially with one with a D-ring and a pintle hitch, this would be a great addition.
