Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches 4-way Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver with 3-ball Mount. Now, this drop hitch receiver has been designed by a US military veteran to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver and give you a rise or a drop to match your particular application. You're just going to move this receiver up and down through this shank to get that adjustment that you're looking for and then secure it with the pin and clips once you have that height adjustment that is going to work best for you. Now, this does have a maximum gross towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds, and a maximum tongue weight of 1,000 pounds, and a maximum drop or rise of about 11 inches. Now, the height adjustment is gonna be right at 1 1/2 inches, and this ball mount is obviously going to let you hook your trailer up to your tow vehicle, and you do have these three balls that are welded on this platform, so you got your 1 7/8-inch, your two-inch, and your 2 5/16-inch balls, so you're gonna be ready for virtually any type of ball coupler that you need to tow.

And then this also includes this 3/4-of-an-inch D-ring that's going to allow for multiple off-roading and recovery uses. I should tell you that, and it's pretty obvious, if you do need to switch to a different ball size, you'll just remove this pin and clip, take the ball mount out, turn it to the ball that you need to use and slide it back in and secure it with the pin and clip, so very easy to get that adjustment in regards to the ball size that you need. Another nice feature is this does include two anti-rattle bolts, they are stainless steel, and you're just gonna tighten those bolts down with the included hex wrench here to get that rattle and vibration out of this, so that's a nice feature. It also acts as a theft deterrent as well. And this is really a heavy-duty construction.

It is constructed of all steel, and this does feature a textured black powder-coat finish that's going to provide resistance against rust and corrosion, but I think the finish is gonna hold up pretty well. Now, one of the highlights of this hitch is that the four pins and clips and the D-ring are all covered in a blue paint, so if you're looking to maybe match your blue truck or something like that, this is gonna be a great option to consider, however, I do wanna let you know that this paint does have a tendency to flake, especially if you're using the clips for the first time and you're securing 'em into the pins, you might get a little bit of flaking there, so just be aware of that. We also have this in different colors as well. You could pick this same unit up with red pins and clips and red D-ring, or my favorite is the color-matching one, the black pins and clips, the black D-ring that matches perfectly with the textured powder finish. It's the same powder finish on those black ones, so that's an option that we carry here as well, so we do have those options for whatever's gonna work best for your particular application.
