Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Gen-Y adjustable two-ball, ball mount with included Lunette ring and pinhole locking. Now this does come with stack receivers and it's a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" shank. Rated at 32,000 pounds, this adjustable ball mount, folks, will let you hook up your trailer to your towed vehicle and tow some super heavy things. You get a 2" ball or a 2 5/16", whichever you prefer. And you also get that paired with the pinhole lock on top, they call it.
It doesn't actually lock, but it holds it in place from coming off, and it's a nice connection point for the trailer coupler. You have six stacked tubes on top of each other. Those are 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 as well. You get two included pin and clips to hold everything in place. I recommend you swapping them out maybe in the future for some lockable ones.
And also note that the hitch pin required is a 5/8" hitch pin hole and that is sold separately if you need a hitch pin and clip, again, I recommend a locking one. The whole thing is SAEJ684 certified. It's made here in the US. Has a limited lifetime warranty. And the nice thing with these are the adjustable heights, so right, you can take this, change the height, have different height trailers, but use the same vehicle and hook up with ease.
Maybe you pull two pins and quickly move it up or down and you're on your way right away, so a nice, nice design there as far as that goes. It is a heavy duty steel construction, zinc primer on everything with a beautiful powder coat finish over the top that you see here. It's a hammered grayish black mixture, very nice and elegant. The lighting in here doesn't do it justice, in my opinion. It looks really good in person.
As far as the ball mount itself and everything, a nice black powder coat finish with a light grip, not a heavy grip, just a light grip, which I like as well 'cause sometimes if you're carrying these around, if it's hot and you're sweaty, you can slip. One thing to mention, a lot of people don't realize or ever do that I see. You do wanna put a little bit of grease on each ball. That helps it go in and out of the coupler easier and it also helps it pivot with less noise and stuff while you're towing. Now as far as some heights, overall I got 18 13/16 tall. And some measurements. If we go from the center of the farthest rear hitch pin hole to the front face here, I get about 10 1/2". If I go from the center of this rear hitch pin hole to the edge of the ball, I get roughly 15 1/2". Keep in mind, I don't have a straight edge here to get that exact, but just to give you an idea of how far it's sticking out. Now, from the back of the shank to the front here, I get right at 12 1/2". So again, just some quick measurements. Hopefully those will help you out a little bit as far as knowing how far it's gonna stick out on your vehicle and those kind of things. As far as the rise, you have a max from here on up of 3" and a max drop of 12". Again, it is rated at 32,000 pounds when you're using the 2 5/16" ball, and a tongue weight of 3,500 pounds. Folks, this is the Gen-Y adjustable two-ball mount, again, on stack receivers. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching, and as always, stay safe while you're towing.

Insert this heavy-duty mount into your 2-1/2" hitch to get 6 stacked 2-1/2" receivers for mounting the included 2" ball, 2-5/16" ball, pintle hook, or other hitch-mounted accessory. Tongue weight is 3,500 lbs. This is a well built long lasting hitch.
Its stout and pulls my 7X16 foot enclosed trailer, fully loaded with 8,000 pounds, without any issue. I don't even know that its back there. I have a diesel Ram 2500 with an 8 inch lift and the hitch drops level with the trailer. 5 stars!!
This thing is ideal, and I've used it every way possible.
Be advised, this thing is heavy-duty. It's not for the faint of heart, or anyone with a weak back. It's built to last forever and weighs accordingly.
Great product!
Product is pretty awesome. very well built. We use in the marine shop for towing 42-50ft 25k+ boats. This is the first product to withstand the requirments. The pintle is so simple and keeps the shop truck from having to swap a standard ball and P-hook between different trailer applications. Highly recommend for the serious user. Its HEAVY so handling the product is a chore but reliability is definatly there. if you buy locking pin for hitch, buy the strongest you can find. We damaged one with this product.
This hitch has been used with both balls in every height position. Hitch is durable and high quality. It has not been off my truck since I purchased it and is used frequently to tow 10-20K trailers.
Great hitch works flawlessly. Easy to configure any ball height
Or size. negative is the grey paint and decals flaked off and it is rusting in first 6 months.
This is great. Heavy duty, quality product. will use to tow my toad behind my RV & bike rack for bikes above tow bar
Everything you want in a hitch in this class.
This hitch is the last one I should ever have to buy. It is well worth the money and should last a long time. I pull 10,000lb trailers and it works out well. No rattling or clanking with this hitch.
Great Product I pull a lot of weight pretty much everyday.
This is the best receiver on the market. It will haul it!!!!
Awesome heavy duty hitch, ordered some locking pins for just incase someone felt strong enough to to take it.
I have both ball and pintle hitch Trailers. That is why I bought this hitch. The hitch it self is well built but the Paint job is not that great . I have had it a year and most of the paint on the Shank ( another reason I bought it for the 3" shank to fit my receiver on my ford Superduty) is pretty much gone. The hitch it self still clanks around in the receiver .I wish there was an adaptor to fit over the Larger ball so that my pintle eye would not move around so much.
By far the most heavy duty hitch I have ever purchased. Could tell whwn I picked up the box it was well built! Just got it on when I got home from work and haven't used it yet, but it will definitely get tested tomorrow. I will post pics later. If you are on the fence, get it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Prompt delivery!
Sturdy, well built. But it rusts!! All that money and it rusted within months. I’ve had a B&W for 10+ years and it’s as shiny as the first day.
Great product. Always the best. This is the 3rd one we have purchased for our heavy trucks. My hitch came all scratched and banged up from poor shipping. Not a positive for a $xxx hitch. Will be looking for a different distributer than etrailer in the future for these products. Great product, 5/5, however etrailer did no favors on this product.
Been towing with this hitch for a year now. It’s the best hitch I’ve ever owned. The longest I’ve ever kept the same hitch. Easy to switch heights, strength, it’s bulletproof. I’ve dropped a loaded dump trailer onto the ball after not getting it lined up correctly. The weight would have bent any other hitch. This Gen-Y laughed at it.
Packaging could be better. Brand new expensive hitch and because it’s packaged poorly there are dings and scrapes and missing coatings on the flats where it’s been banged around. There again this is a bad ass hitch and extremely sturdy and well built. This is a tool and meant to work so the dings aren’t a big deal really if you’re going to use it as such but if you’re wanting show truck sparkle this didn’t suffice. I know these spots where the hitch has been dinged will rust.
Haven't used it yet but it looks great! 19 f250 with 8" lift and 37's. The 12 drop is perfect
We use these for almost every truck in our fleet. For us, it really is a 1 hitch solution. On some of ours that our several years old and stay in the receiver year-round, the finish is starting to come off because of the ridiculous amount of salt that they put on the roads in our region. But otherwise they still function 100%.
Simpliflies the work of switching between ball sizes. And will minimize damage from others if struck in the rear.
Nice hitch need a set of locking pins please send me what’s available
