Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Gen-Y adjustable two-ball mount with a drop and a rise and the pintle lock accessory for a two inch hitch. Has a 10,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this is an adjustable ball mount. This will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The shank right here is what'll slide into your two inch hitch receiver on your vehicle, and then it's held in place by either a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.

Now those are not included. We do sell those separately on our website. If you notice, there's two hitch pin holes here and they are 5/8 inch diameter. Now up front, you'll have either a two inch diameter ball or a 2 5/16 diameter ball to choose from. This will provide the connection points for your trailer coupler.

Also included with this application, there is a pintle lock accessory, which is this part right here. When this is paired with the larger 2 5/16 ball, it provides a secure connection point for a lunette ring coupler. A lunette ring coupler would be the coupler that has just a large ring on your trailer and it drops over the ball. To keep it onto the ball, you would use this pintle lock. And the way it installs, take your pin and clip out, slide this back out of the way, drop your lunette ring over the ball.

And then to keep it from coming off the ball, just slide this back over lunette ring and then put your pin all the way through. Take your clip, go ahead and clip it, and that'll lock it into place, keep that lunette ring from coming off. Now, if you're not using it on a lunette ring coupler, just a ball coupler, you can actually take the pin and clip out, slide the accessory back out of the way, and then there's a second hole. Put the pin through, go ahead and clip it, and that'll lock it and keep it out of the way. And then you can just use a regular ball coupler.

Gross towing weight capacity on this is 10,000 pounds, maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. If you notice it has five stacked two inch receivers. It'll accept the included ball mount, the pintle lock accessory, as well as other hitch-mounted accessories. The pins and clips, it's 2 5/8 inch diameter stainless steel pins and clips. These are included to secure the ball mount and the pintle lock to the shank. And what's unique about these is they use the twist pin, which is a Gen-Y exclusive. What's nice about that, it makes it so much easier to install your clip. So basically when you. Let's go ahead and put your accessory back out there. Slide your pin through. So when you go to push it, instead of just trying to push it real hard to get it on, all you have to do is put it sideways. Push it, it slides on and it twist into. locks into place. Very easy to install and remove. Now this will offer you an adjustable height. This will let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. Basically, this ball mount can be raised or lower into whatever height you need for your application and flipped over for whatever ball size you need. So once you choose the ball size you need, and then whatever height, you just insert it in there, take your pin and clip, lock it into place, and you're ready to go. Now if you put this in the lowest position, it's gonna get you a maximum drop of 7.5 inches. If you put this in the highest position, gives you a maximum rise of 2.5 inches. This is a heavy-duty steel construction. They use a zinc primer and then a Silver Vein powder coat finish to resist corrosion. It is SAE J684 certified and it is made in the USA. Application, again, fits two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. Now one note I do wanna mention. This ball mount does have many different dimensions on it, so I do recommend for you to go to the product page of this part number to verify any dimension that you might need for your application.
