Insert this heavy-duty mount into your 2-1/2" hitch to get 7 stacked 2-1/2" receivers for mounting the included 2" ball, 2-5/16" ball, pintle hook, or other hitch-mounted accessory. Stabilizer kit ensures load is well distributed.

Specs:
This unique mount from Gen-Y Hitch includes a ball mount that can be easily positioned in one of the 7 stacked receivers that sits along the vertical shank of the unit. This dual-ball mount lets you tow a trailer with a 2" ball coupler or a 2-5/16" ball coupler.
Also included is a pintle lock, which can be inserted into the receiver directly above the ball mount to create a pintle hitch for hooking up a trailer with a lunette ring. Unlike other adjustable pintle hooks on the market, there are no nuts and bolts to remove and retorque when you change the positioning of this hitch. Just move the ball mount and pintle lock up or down to get the proper height and secure them in place with the included pins.
With the 7 stacked receivers, not only do you have the ability to adjust the height of the included ball mount, but you also have the ability to add various other hitch-mounted accessories. This heavy-duty mount is built with a 3,000-lb tongue weight, so you can even use multiple hitch accessories at the same time, as long as there are no clearance issues.
Because this mount has such a significant drop, a stabilizer kit is included to prevent any wobble and to keep the mount stable and sturdy as you tow. Simply bolt or weld the brackets onto your truck's frame, and connect the stabilizer bars to the back of the Gen-Y mount. The stabilizer bars can easily be adjusted to span the distance between your vehicle's frame and the Gen-Y ball mount.
If you remove the mount from your hitch, the stabilizer bars can be disconnected from the brackets using the included pins and clips so that you can remove the bars from your vehicle as well.

Hi, everybody, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Gen-Y adjustable two-ball ball mount with stacked receivers for a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. It has 18 inches of drop and it's ready for 21,000 pounds. Now, if you have a nice lifted setup on your vehicle, most likely your pickup truck, suburban or whatnot, this is gonna be a great option for you. It has a nice 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch heavy duty receiver tube. You have 18 inches of drop, very impressive.
You've got stabilizer support arms going up underneath the vehicle side of the connection point. And as you know with the adjustable ball mounts, especially this size, only use it in the drop, never flip it over. It's not rated or made to be used in the rise. Now, this is gonna be the connection point for either your Lunette ring, pintle hook, whatever you wanna call it, and your coupler on the trailer side, and then the 2 1/2 inch shank here will slide into that matching 2 1/2 inch receiver hitch on the vehicle side. You've got seven stacked tubes over here, and those are gonna be great for maybe some other options and accessories that you might have.
So zooming in here, you can see that nice black powder coat finish. You could pull the pins out here, flip this over, have the two inch ball on top. The two inch ball's actually rated at 16,000 pounds gross trailer towing weight with a max tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. And the 2 5/16 up here on top is rated at that 21,000 pound capacity with a 3,000 pound tongue weight. Now, you have this Lunette ring.
Some people call it a pintle hook. That's set up here to hook up once you get that Lunette ring on and everything. So again, most likely you're using this for heavy duty trailers. Maybe you're in construction, farming, those kind of things, moving, towing, whatever. So again, heavy duty applications.
Again, nice black powder coat finish and everything you see is black. A hammered finish with mostly gray with some black accents on the back side of it here or deep inside of that gray. Very beautiful finish. You get the three pin and clips included to hold this, the pintle hitch and the main ball assembly in place. You have two holes up here on the shank. They're 5/8 inch, that's standard. There's no hitch pin or clips included, so you would need to source them separately. Most likely you probably have some, but if not, make sure they're for 2 1/2 inch hitches. Make sure they're 5/8 inch. And personally I recommend getting a lockable one so you can protect your investment. Now, going over here to the support arm and bars, I'm gonna leave them here. They're just kind of balanced up here a little bit. They can pivot a lot more both ways and up and down a whole lot. So if you think about kind of like a three point hitch connection on the back of a tractor implement or something, they have that same range of motion. And likewise, you can take these pins that come with it and you can put 'em in the holes, and you can tighten or loosen them to stiffen everything up, tighten it up, secure it up, right before you do your tow. And then of course when you're done and you need to remove it, you can loosen them and take everything apart. Overall height from the top here down to my tabletop, I got 21 and 11/16 inches, but it's 18 inches of drop. The whole unit here has been SAE J684 certified. And that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together, folks. As always, thanks for watching, and please, give us feedback, if you wanna submit some photos, videos, or whatnot of how you're using it, where you're using it, maybe of just of this on your nice ride, and if you're towing a trailer with it, we welcome all that feedback, good, bad, or ugly. That way we can work with the manufacturers and continue to make things better and make things more efficient for everybody that's using 'em. Again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much. Have a good one.
