Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Gen-Y Rebel X adjustable ball mount for a two inch hitch. Has a 10 inch drop or 10 inch rise and a 7,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this is an adjustable ball mount, so it'll let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. This shank portion right here is what'll slide into your two inch hitch receiver on your vehicle.

And right up front here, you can see this ball platform. This will provide the mounting point for your hitch ball to attach to. Now, the hitch ball is not included. We do sell that separately on our website. The ball hole diameter that the hitch ball goes into is a one inch diameter hole.

If you notice, this uses five stacked receivers, which will accept the ball platform as well as other hitch mounted accessories. They do include this 5/8 inch diameter stainless steel pin with the clip included to secure that ball platform or accessories to this shank. And one thing I do wanna mention is this twist clip design they use on their clip that holds the pin in place. It's pretty nice. It's very easy to operate.

Sometimes some of these clips make it really hard to insert it into the pin or to remove it. But this one is a twist design. So basically, to remove it, you just twist it. And as you twist it, it'll pop right off and then you can remove your pin. And then when you go to install it, you just line one of those up with the hole.

Push it. And then when you push it, it'll twist and clip right into place. So, it makes it real easy to install the clip or to remove it. Now, I mentioned the five stacked receivers. So, this will give you adjustable heights. So, it'll let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. You can put the ball mount all the way to the very bottom. You can raise it all the way up to the top. You can just raise it or match it to whatever your application is. Now, if you do put this in the lowest position when you install this in the drop position, it'll get your maximum drop of 10 inches. If you do flip this over in your hitch and get the maximum rise and then put this in the highest position, it'll get you a maximum rise of 10 inches. Just to show you how you remove that ball platform, again, take out your pin and clip. Slide this right out. And then, again, you can slide it in whatever height you need. And I'm just gonna put it right back where we had it. And then once you get it in there, line the hole up with your pin. Slide the pin through and then use your twist clip. Goes right into place. Simple as that. This is a nice, heavy-duty steel construction. All these parts have a nice, black powder coat finish to them to resist rust and corrosion. Now, when you do install this into your hitch receiver, it will require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for securing it to your hitch receiver. That is not included. You would have to supply that or we do sell them separately. The diameter in the hitch pin hole is 5/8 of an inch. This part is made in the USA. Application, again, is two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. The five stacked receivers up front, their size is two inch by two inch. This does have a gross towing weight capacity of 7,000 pounds. Maximum tongue weight capacity of 700 pounds. And the last thing I wanna do is just give you the measurement from the center of this hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. So basically, tell you what I'm gonna do is we're gonna move this up to the very top position. It'll make it very easy to measure it. And again, once I get that all the way in, we'll line the hole up. Let me get that back over. There we go. Once we get the hole lined up, we'll go ahead and put our pin through there. And once our pins through there, we'll go ahead and clip it. And again, I'm gonna measure from the center of this hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. So, if we get our tape measure and we go from the center of the hitch pin hole right here to the center of the ball hole, it's gonna be right at 12 1/2 inches.
