If you want the best most heavy duty hitch made in the U.S.A anything Gen-Y is what you should get. When I bought my new Tacoma I got this and it is way overkill to tow a horse trailer with a total loaded weight of 4600 pounds.How ever this hitch weighs about 50 pounds solid bar and the finish is the best I've seen.This is the company I trust but the other American brands are great also Gen-Y is just a cut above in my opinion.
It's really difficult to find a 10k rated 2 inch ball hitch. I replaced my last 7.5k hitch because it had alot of work on it and would rather be proactive and replaced/upgraded the hitch before my old old failed.
I needed a beefy hitch receiver and this fits the bill with gusto! VERY convenient having all three ball sizes available at once, too! A real confidence builder!
Very well built 10,000 pound capacity which is why I bought it also made in the USA.

OK folks if you are looking for a HEAVY-DUTY hitch look no further, these are solid shank hitches! We use these to haul commercial trailers at work. No junk here! Caution you small guys might need a gym membership to install on your truck!

Tow a 15,000lb trailer with this hitch almost daily. It has been in use for right at a year and shows no sign of giving up anytime soon. These are the only hitches i buy from here on out, they have been put on all 22 of our trucks!

Strong hitch at a good price. Never use the 1 7/8” ball but I wish the 2 in ball and 2 5/16 were at 90 degrees to each other instead of 180. When my dump trailer is loaded tongue heavy and I’m on a hill it bottoms out sometimes.

Real heavy duty ball mount. Has towed large boat up and down east coast multiple times with confidence. Other things might fail but this mount will not be my problem. Highly recommended

Love the 16K capacity. Only reason for 4 stars, the receiver pin hole is only 2.5" from the end of the shaft. Would be even more stable if it was 3". We are using it as a straight ball hitch directly into the truck's hitch. Etrailer offered superior service in helping us find this HD straight ball mount.
