This Fastway Silent adjustable ball mount provides solid, rattle-free towing performance. A stainless steel pin, operated by the included hex tool, extends out from the shank and tightens the ball mount in your receiver.
To further eliminate any movement, a bolt in the side of the ball platform tightens the connection between the platform and the adjustment shank. As a result, you'll enjoy a quiet, rattle-free towing experience.
The ball platform is connected to the adjustment shank by the hex bolt located in the front of the platform. To change the ball height, simply loosen both the bolt in the front and the bolt in the side of the platform with the included tool. This will release the ball platform and allow you to slide it up and down. Or, you can slide the platform off and reverse it to change the ball size.

Great looking adjustable hitch. I purchased the non-locking version because locks and similar mechanisms seem to have issues due to salt and ice here in MN. Not sure if the locking version would have issues, but I didn't want to take the chance. Hitch is easy to adjust, seems very strong, and looks great.
I shopped a lot online to try to find the perfect ball mount (I'm very particular.) I really liked being able to watch a video of each individual product and how it operates, so that I could make an informed decision based off more than a couple stock photos like what other stores are offering. Shipping was shockingly quick, considering I bought the lowest grade shipping option offered. The ball mount adjusts smoothly and easily, and fits my receiver better than any I've owned before. I am extremely impressed by my dealings with eTrailer, as well as with the product itself!
Very happy with the quality of this hitch. Works on my 2005 dodge ram 2500 as well my 2014 dodge durango. With a standard hitch I could hear and feel the hitch banging around when connected to my durango but with this hitch it was nice and quiet. The only down side I have found is the tension pin does not go fully into the receiver of my durango but it still worked. I would recommend this hitch to anyone.
I ordered thie DTSTBM6800 for my GMC HD2500. The quality is great. You cannot turn the ball to the inside because the holes do not go all the way through the vertical drop beam. The rattle free screws do as advertised... prevent rattling. Unfortunatelly DT does not offer this in a 2 1/2 inch size to fit my 2011 GMC HD2500. The sleeve that comes with the truck reduces the receiver size from 2.5 inches to fit the 2 inch receiver... this is the part that rattles and drives me crazy!!! I'm currently troubleshooting to resolve this issue.

Thats my problem also!!!! Why can they not make us a 2-1/2 reciever???? Common fellas let get er done!!!

I love the idea.....but I have a couple problems with the hitch. First, it will only work on one of my two tow vehicles. The 2" shaft for the receiver pin is not long enough to clear my bumper.
The other problem I have is that the bar that adjusts the height of the two balls should have a couple more holes drilled for more height settings.
I will say the build quality is fantastic.
Shipping was good arrived on schedule date. Used it to tow my 8,000 lb. boat was nice to be able to raise the trailer so it was level and not having the tongue of the trailer lower than the rear of the trailer. Now when I tow my small boat with 13" tires all I have to do is flip the ball mount and lower it. Great Product well made and in the USA.

This is second fasthitch a very good product best hitch I've ever used.. would recommend this hitch to anyone that pulls different trailers alot..
This is a replacement drop for the one that was on my truck when it was stolen. I had forgotten the exact model number of the drop I had purchased, so I emailed etrailer asking if they had records of all my previous purchases. Within the hour I received an email with all my previous 7 years of purchases.

There is a problem with the product. I had indicated that my vehicle was a Ford Explorer. I purchased this product specifically for the non-rattle aspect. Unfortunately the receiver on the Explorer is too short to allow the non-rattle apparatus in the actual receiver. Therefore this aspect is useless. Any suggestions?

I'm impressed with the fit, finish, & quality of this adjustable ball mount. The adjustment is quick/easy and it doesn't rattle like most other ball mounts I've used. Another key feature for me is that this mount is constructed of aluminum. My truck is exposed to the elements of New England (excessively salted roads & living on the Seacoast), so I will never have to worry about this mount deteriorating due to rust.
Quality and fit are excellent. Finish is exquisite.

This product does exactly as advertised. The item did not rattle
at all. The first I have seen that doesn't rattle. it is very nice looking
as well. Looks great on my 2014 Yukon Denali.
