  Before you pick out a ball mount you will need to make sure you know exactly how much rise/drop you would need for your trailer to be towed level. I attached a help article that details exactly how to do this. But for a 3 inch drop with a 10k rating you would want the Ball Mount # DT40201. This ball mount has 4 inches of drop, so to make up the additional inch you would want the high rise hitch ball part # C40035 which is a 2-5/16 inch ball with a 10k rating.
