This will have the shortest shank (8" from hitch pin hole to adjustment pin hole) and the shortest adjustment hole to ball length. When tightened to the proper torque specifications, ideally there would be 2-3 threads showing at the bottom of the shank. The ball has a 7500 lb capacity, which exceeds the capacity of the ball mount.
