Heavy Duty Drop Down Hitch no problem pulling a 10,000# trailer
We needed a hitch adapter for our Kubota RTV -900 to be able to pull a small trailer because the receiver was quite low to the ground. This was perfect!
I got hitch all setup and used it the last 2 days 8 inch [drop] its just what the truck and trailer needed. Got the trailer level now, instead of hitch being way to high. The strongest, heaviest 2" mount drop hitch I have seen. Moreover, etrailer had the best price, excellent service and communications, and extremely fast shipping. I received it within three days of ordering it!!! They are my "go to" seller for anything towing related!
I got a lift kit put in my truck and needed a drop mount to make up the difference. First thing I noticed was the weight of this thing. Its solid steel. Extremely heavy duty. It has a 12,000 lb rating which is good because my trailer carries a GTW of 12,000 lbs and I wanted to make sure I was covered. All the other drop mounts were only 5000 lb ratings; my trailer's curb weight is 4400 lbs. I know the structural integrity is compromised when lengthening a mount so that's why I chose this one.

It's exactly as described, I'm glad I bought it, I have a 12,500 lb horse trailer to pull and my F350 has a 6 inch lift and 37s, so I was searching hard for a drop that was still rated to 12k and this does the job perfectly

The sway control bracket didn’t fit this receiver but I will use to replace damaged unit on another receiver
Hitch is great. The 8" drop on a 2017 Ram 4X4 with 6 inch lift kit is perfect.
Received it today. I have towed for all my life. Know quality when I see it. Solid metal, should get many yearS use out of this. 8 inch drop is perfect for my Dodge Ram 2500. My utility trailer sits perfect level. More than pleased with the quality.
I bought a much larger truck and my trailers would not hook up and pull level Just looking online I found this extended drop hook that was perfect. High rated. and built heavy. Very pleased
Ball mount MUCH stouter than the Reese that I forget to remove when I sold my old truck-solid square stock not square tubing. Ball as expected.

This adapter has continued to work very well for pulling this small utility trailer with our RTV900. We can haul lots of firewood and limbs.
