  When we installed the hitch part # 75579 on a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan we found that the hitch height from the ground to the top of the hitch opening was 12-3/4 inches. To allow a trailer with a 17 inch coupler height to be towed level you would need 5-1/4 inches of rise. So instead for a ball mount you would want the part # 4282. Then for hitch balls part # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or part # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball.

Since you measured to the bottom of the hitch opening you will want to add 2 inches to that figure since it is recommended to measure to the top of the opening. You would just need a weight distribution shank that offers more drop such as # C17123 for a 2 inch hitch receiver or # EQ90-02-4900 for a 2-1/2 inch hitch.
