Curt Adjustable Clevis and Pintle Hook Combo with 2" and 2-5/16" Balls - 6,000 lbs

Product was advertised to work with any weight distribution shank. But when I received the hitch I realized it uses 5/8 inch pins to connect to the weight distribution shank, but wd shank have 3/4 inch holes. I contacted etrailer and they gave me the excuse that if the hitch used 3/4 inch pins they wouldn't fit the 3/4 inch holes on the wd shank. They also said that the amount of play in the system from using 5/8 pins in 3/4 inch holes was ok and to be expected. I was able to find a sleeve for the 5/8 pins at Tractor Supply that make them work in the 3/4 inch holes. This hitch is also at least an 1/8 inch wider than the wd shank which also creates a lot of movement. I was able to cut strips of a rubber belt to fill the gap. This hitch will do the job now that I have fixed it's short comings. I would not buy this product again and would only recommend it to someone that does not mind having to fix a brand new product.497860

Works fine. Strong, reliable, and ez to hook up the ring or the ball hitch to the tow vehicle. Allows for flexibility in your towing set up when you have different trailer hitch you are pulling.
A small thing is it can be a bit noisy because of all the pin connections. The noise could be fixed by using nuts and bolts to make the connections in the set up.

I use my CURT Ball Hitch weekly !! Every trailer I have is 1 size or the other, so this fits my needs perfect !! The only things I added were locks on it. After finding out that it's made in China I ordered a similarly priced Gen Y dual ball mount with better weight rating and made in USA. Not a bad hitch if you need pintle ring capability its just the made in china thing that down rates it for me. My fault for not looking more carefully about country of origin.1684177

This is a heavy duty combo pintle / ball mount. It is replacing one that failed at the welds. Since this is a solid piece with no welds I expect many years of use. 315792
