Now, this is gonna be compatible with your standard 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver. And this tri-ball hitch is a excellent fit for heavy-duty trucks and SUVs. The fixed design is going to give you a secure and stable towing setup without needing adjustments.
This tri-ball provides a convenient all-in-one towing solution with three hitch balls in different sizes. You got the 1 7/8 inch, the 2 inch, and then the 2 5/16 inch balls. So you're gonna be able to easily switch between trailers of varying coupler sizes and weight requirements. Our pinholes are 5/8 of an inch. In case you were wondering, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of our balls, we're sitting right at 7 1/2 inches.
And from the center of the hitch pin holes to the end of the shank, pretty close to 3 1/2 inches in case you we inchesre wondering about that particular measurement. So again, this is going to be designed for heavy-duty towing and this hitch does feature a steel shank and hitch ball assembly. And the maximum gross trailer weight for the 1 7/8 inch hitch ball is gonna be 6,000 pounds. For the 2 inch ball, it's going to be 10,000 pounds. And for the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, it's gonna be 14,000 pounds.
The balls are chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and the shank is black powder-coated, giving you that durability and also corrosion resistance. And altogether, this weighs a little over 17 pounds, about 17 1/2 pounds or so. So if you decide that this is going to be exactly what you need, that's great.
