Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our BulletProof hitch with a two ball ball mount made for a two inch by two inch hitch with a nice offset. So folks, this two ball ball mount lets you hook up your trailer to maybe different tow vehicles. The box shank slides into a two inch by two inch receiver tube on the vehicle. This particular guy is a hollow tube.
You've got two 5/8 inch pinhole options here. The hitch pin and clip is sold separately. I recommend you getting a locking one just to protect your investment. You've got a four inch gusset up here and a six inch gusset here. Now for demonstration purposes, I chose to put the two inch ball on top, the 2 5/16 on the bottom.
That's just because the weight is perfect and I can have it here on the table. You can technically invert this, make any rise or drop you need according to the options that come with this. You also get a nice little tube of lubrication grease, and that basically is made to go on top of the balls, maybe on the shank here, as well, keep all those turning connections and sliding connections nice and lubricated. That way, they don't gum up on you over time or whatnot. It's made of a heavy duty fixed steel.
It is SAE J684 certified. You got two pin and clips here to hold the ball up or down, depending on your options of rise. It's ideal for vehicles with say a 20 to 21 inch clearance from the ground of the bottom of your receiver tube. So, wherever this is sliding into the bottom of that tube on the vehicle, you need between 20 to 21 inches. That's ideal.
It is a matte black powder coat finish. It's been heat treated. The steel withstands heavy weight and everything. As far as the pins, they are nickel under coated with a zinc top coat, and that's gonna give 'em a nice resistance to corrosion and also endure the strength and everything on 'em. Now, I will throw up an image here of some dimensions. Keep in mind there's a lot of dimensions on there. Tried to give you everything we could straight from the manufacturer. You can pause this video and go back to it if you need to see 'em. The whole weight of the product is roughly 29 pounds. It does have a limited lifetime warranty. I would say some of the most important measurements you're gonna need is overall height is about 14 inches tall. The length of the ball platform when it's installed is about 15 1/2 inches. And if you didn't have the ball on there, it would go down to 11 3/4 inches. Well, folks, this is rated for 10,000 pounds towing capacity with a two inch ball, and if you flip it over and use the 2 5/16, that's rated for 14,000 pounds. The max tongue weight is 2,000 pounds overall. Well, folks, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for looking at this BulletProof hitch with me today, again, for a two inch hitch. I'm Steven. Have a great one.
Very heavy duty and ONLY one rated to 36K and made in the U.S.A that means a lot to me.
