Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this six-foot long by four inch wide continuous hinge. This hinge is gonna provide a sturdy, continuous support for your door or tailgate under utility trailer. It does have 270 degrees of rotation for full opening and closing motion. And that six foot length is going to offer more support than smaller individual hinges and it's goNNA help reduce the stress on your heavier doors. This can be welded on or bolted on.
As you see the side plates here are solid materials, so you can drill the holes wherever you need them to be. If you're wanting to bolt this in place, does have an aluminum construction. So it is going to be very lightweight and rustproof. Each side is going to measure two inches. Can show you that here with a little ruler.
So if I hold that up, you can see up to the hinge there, right about two inches forget the right angle from my camera. The knuckles themselves are also right at two inches in length. So you can see the pin diameter inside there is gonna be 3/8 of an inch or about 9 1/2 millimeters. They have excellent customer service and I would buy from them again. One little thing they could use help on is packaging their products so they don’t fall apart on the way to the customer.
Wrong item shipped, received 3” wide STEEL, not 4” wide ALUMINUM. I was forced to wait for the second item because it wasn’t in stock, now I’m waiting again, and having to return one item to UPS before the correct item is sent out. Please check stock and ensure it is the correct item

used cobalt drill bit drilled 4 holes in hinge on corners with paper to keep door space for future paint ,drilled holes in hinge only just touch wood ,undid 4 screws ,recessed wood with bur thing ,punched stainless hinge into wood, screwed in screws near flush ,very clean super price and strong ,thank you

Used this hinge to replace 2 frozen hinges on our 10 foot enclosed trailer. Because of the full length, we were able to bolt it on instead of welding. We cut the old ones off with a cut off wheel. It worked out great!

Correct item received, but tape gum on the hinge will require extensive cleaning before use. Was not necessary to be taped up, Or use painters tape the is easily removable leaving no film.

This hinge is heavy duty. We have had no issues with the door sense installing. If in need to get rid of hinges that keep getting bent, this might be the hinge you are looking for to do the job.

Wow, shipping was no problem, it shipped in a solid tube and this was the 72” so it’s a long tube. Very heavy gage hinge. Super impressed to get this size in this heavy of a material for this price.
