I added this to the front trailer door which never had a spring assist. It installed easy and works great on the 60" wide ramp door.

Product is good and quality was as expected. Instructions were decent. Packaging was very poor. Product was dropped into oversized box with no packaging materials. Arrived with rod sticking out of the end of the box and a crack in the cable wheel. Wasn't worth the effort to return, so I used as-is.

We received our door spring and the drums were damaged. I called etrailer and they sent new ones out quickly so we could get our trailer door fixed right away. They were most excellent in customer service :)

Worked well, cut down the bar to fit our trailer needs and bolted right up. Right side pulley was bent, (Probably from Shipping). Working with them for a replacement. Just took the pulley off the old to get the trailer back on the road. Installed quickly with 2 guys and everything was as described when purchased.

The quality of these are right up there with whats on your garage door just lighter duty springs. Be sure to weigh your door to get the correct springs. I ordered it and it was here in 3 days! Good quality, Nice price & Fast shipping! Nobody local would sell us one because we weren't using it for a ramp door! We used it to assist in lifting the 80lb. stairs on a truck. Works great, There won't be any back injuries now.

First, shipping was really fast. After I ordered I received a email saying my order had already shipped. I ordered on a Tuesday and was able to install my equipment during the weekend. I have a smaller 6 x 10 trailer and I only utilized 1 torsion spring which gave me a back up spring for reserve. After installing the unit with new tension cables my ramp door works smooth and I’m really happy to have my trailer back in service again. etrailer understands the importance of getting customers product out as soon as possible.
