Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Rubber Lip Seal for RV Cargo Doors

Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Press-On Rubber Lip Seal. This will replace a broken or worn out weather stripping around your cargo doors on your RV. It's gonna help prevent any water damage, and create a nice, tight seal for you so you don't have to worry about costly headache of having water getting into your RV. Now, this is made here in the USA of a EPDM rubber, so it is gonna be very durable.

It's gonna resist UV damage. It's not gonna shrink, crack, or fade over time. So it will hold up well for you for a long time to come. I do want to give you some dimensions here, make sure it's going to be what you need. So you can see, we are sitting about one inch wide, and approximately a nine 16ths of an inch tall.

And we are going to get 50 feet of seal with this part number. It's gonna be very easy to get installed. It is just the press-on design, so you'll press that onto your one eighth of an inch thick flange there. You may need to use a rubber mallet to tap it into the seal, but it is going to give you that flexible core that's gonna help hold the seal, maintain the grip, even in your rounded areas, so that you're gonna have a nice, consistent seal all the way around. And then, if you don't need the full 50 feet for your application, you can't just use scissors to trim any extra off.

But overall, great option here to replace, and make sure that your RV is gonna be resistant to that water around those doors. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
